citywave Vilnius self check-in

The room is big and nicely furnished, the bathroom has heating so even in colder months it is a good option; Great big common kitchen room as on the photo! There is tea, etc, waste separated, very clean. Location is very close to the train station and you can walk easily; at day time there is a restaurant next door and the Citywave arena for surfing indoors, also a nice yard to sit or even play with kids outside.

Only if arriving very late at night keep in mind that it will be dark and there is no other building open. Just follow the instructions the host will send and it will be easy to find.

The facility is brand new and the staff is super friendly

It’s a really nicely designed building. Everything is very spacious and clean. We even had a little patio.

We arrived in the evening and had missed to explicitly request the access code. I had only seen check-in after 15:00 and self-check-in. Normally the code is just given in the into message. Not here. So we had no way to get to our room in the middle of a heavy thunderstorm. The property wasn’t reachable via message, phone or text. If it weren’t for other guests that by chance came we would have not had a room. And while the friendly lady at the adjacent citywave facility was nice and apologetic the next day, the actual hotel never even got back to us. Also, the pumps of that wave machine are mind numbingly loud during the day. The whole house vibrates. So forget about a nice siesta.

Very new and clean, great kitchen facilities

They put me in the wrong room which I had booked and when I asked to move, they ignored my email and the staff put the phone down on me saying it was not her problem.
