The size of the room. Location is on the gate to the old town. The hotel had everything you need for the price you pay. Breakfast had everything you need but lacked in Quality.

The only negative i have to say that the Mattresses are worn.

Perfect location. Helpful reception staff

It was a great location the number 88 bus from the airport stopped right outside. Super convenient. Also an easy walk into the centre to see all the sights.

Good for a stay in the old town.

The location is great when you need to be in the centre. I was impressed by how quiet it was. The room was also a lot more spacious than expected. The heated tiles in the bathroom was a nice bonus because I didn't bring any slippers.

It would be great if there were packets of hair conditioner too, or 2 in 1 shampoo.

Sound insulation not sufficient: loud guests in the hallway disturbing sleep. Parking lot with dirt surface, becoming somewhat muddy if it rains.

A great time in a lovely city.

The location is excellent, close both to railway and bus stations and to Old Vilnius town centre. The bus to/from the airport stops just outside the hotel. My room was comfortable, quiet, and clean, with a fine bathroom (shower). Soaps and shampoo were provided and there was a hair dryer in the bathroom. I really liked the breakfast, with excellent coffee, fruit juices, cooked breakfast items, such as scrambled egg, sausages, and potato cakes, and with a broad selection of cold items, including some local specialities. I could leave my luggage after checking out and come back and pick it up in the evening, since I had a late flight leaving Vilnius.

Great location and comfortable, spacious rooms.

Breakfast was delicious and convenient. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The location was great, as was the restaurant next door. We had dinner there the first night. It was a leisurely walk to the main sights of Vilnius. The area was clean, and I loved being able to park our rental car there. The people that worked at the front desk were very kind and helpful.

The bathroom was dirty when we arrived, but they cleaned it right away.

Good location for Vilnius old town and central market

This hotel is in a good location for visiting Vilnius, right by the old City Gate. The staff was lovely and welcoming and our suite was nice and spacious. It had a table and chairs outside for relaxing with a cup of coffee or tea. The bed itself was comfortable, although the bottom sheet barely fit over the mattress, which made for some tossing and turning. This seems to be the case in many Baltic and Scandinavian hotels, as if they all moved over to larger beds and then kept the old sheets.

The breakfast could really use improving. The scrambled eggs are overcooked and hard and the bread is mostly of the Wonderbread variety, or those hard rolls with no flavor. There was something that vaguely resembled rye bread, but again, no flavor at all. Not a croissant in site. The cereals were all sugary as were the yogurts. There was one lone pint container of natural yogurt, almost empty by the time we got to it. Thankfully, there were some cheese slices and tomatoes and cucumber aswell, and the cottage cheese was good. All in all, slim pickings though. The bathtub had one of those curtain liners that stick to you when you’re showering, and (my own pet peeve) the grout in the tub was black in spots, and needed a good scrub.

Convenient location - good for business and private visits.

The location is great, near the city gates, so not far for breakfast and late night food outings, also not far from the best Georgian restaurant in the area. Also, is well located on the way to/from the airport. The room is spacious. This time I did not take breakfast, but last time I did and it was fine. Recommended.

Good location cloase to old town, very clean and modern.

Heated bathroom floor and towel warmer, A/C, breakfast and coffee good, table and chairs in room, clean, nice building, water cooler, hold luggage after check-out.

Ran out of clean towels, towels thin and small, no hair conditioner, pillows too soft, breakfast attendant not friendly or interactive but did a good job maintaining breakfast items and tables.

Good value for money hotel, friendly staff and close to town

The breakfast on offer was pretty good for only 10 EUR. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was very comfortable. The building has some interesting history and is well decorated.

I had two windows in my room - one did not have a blind or a curtain, so I used my shower towel to cover during the night (it was opposite a parking lot!). Wasn't too bothered about it, but it slightly affected my sleep quality.

Comfortable, reliable, enjoyable and never disappointed.

Stayed at City Gate before and always receive a warm welcome, location is good with train station and 'old town' easy walking distance. Breakfast is always good, rooms are good size and comfortable, bed was good and slept well. Quiet location also set back a little bit from the street.

I miss have the opportunity to make tea or coffee in the room, there is a small fridge in the room if required.

Central location, next to a nice restaurant Bazilijonai where you can pop out for a well priced meal. Bus and train station as well as historical center are all within walking distance. Tasty breakfast with good choices was glad to see pancakes on the menu and local preserve. Fridge in the room. Extra thank you to the amazing staff member who returned our watch we left behind!

No safe in the room. Not the most modern decorations but that is a subjective topic.
