Stepono apartments

We really enjoyed our stay. The owner is lovely and made sure we had everything we needed. The location is perfect, quiet but super close to everything. The apartment had everything necessary.

The light in the room is beautiful, but despite their efforts to make it possible to block it out, we kept waking up early because there were no shutters and the curtains weren’t enough.

Close to train station and old town. Good facilities would recommend.

Communication with the hosts in advance and in person was excellent. Studio apartment was quite spacious, spotlessly clean and the kitchen area was vey well equipped. Airy and bright. Easy walking distance to the train and bus/coach stations and to the Old Town and many of Vilnius's sights of interest. Range of food shopping facilities close by, including bakery. Wide range of restaurants in the Old Town. A really interesting and beautiful city to visit.

The apartment has a comfortable size. The location is close to the city centre and the bus and railway stations The area is quiet and there is no noise at night. Very good to sleep well.

The morning of the arrival the person in charge offered early check in but for a fee. We informed her that our arrival time could be around 14h00 but that we will wait to arrive at 15h00 (the stipulated check in time). Surprisingly, on arrival at 15h00 the room was not ready (after been offered an early check in for a fee). The comment from the person in charge was that the person doing the cleaning was sick. However, we will never be informed about it before the arrival. We had to come back 30 minutes later and the room was still been cleaned. I have serious doubts about the cleaning person not feeling well. I had a similar situation in the past in Poland, and the reason was even more bizarre, the cleaning person has had an accident. I do not think it is worth this behaviour because it gives you a bad impression and a lack of trust from the very beginning. After payment by credit card, the person in charge never provided or offered a VAT receipt.
