Casa Del Sol Pietra Kotor

What a wonderful find! Perfect location in the old town. Recently renovated and in excellent, clean condition. The host left bottled water and some goodies, which were welcome and appreciated. Instructions on how to find the property and how to access were all very clear. There’s a sweet café in a courtyard nearby and I enjoyed opening the shutters and seeing the view and listening to the church bells. I can’t wait to go back!

Oh my God... what an absolute oasis tucked inside Old Town Kotor. Sometimes I spend way too much time comparing endless places to stay... reading reviews, checking photos, pretending I’m some kind of travel inspector. Other times, I stare at my budget, pick a decent location, and blindly book while hoping I don’t accidentally reserve what looks like a renovated prison cell. That’s exactly what I did here... and I 100% lucked out. From the moment I booked, the owner reached out right away with all the necessary info, including a helpful little video showing exactly how to find the property... which, if you’ve wandered Old Town Kotor, is basically survival training. She also answered random questions about Kotor that she absolutely wasn’t obligated to answer. When I arrived, I was genuinely floored. Based on my price point, I was fully prepared to walk into what I assumed would be a glorified janitor’s closet with a bed shoved in the corner. Instead... this place was spacious, charming, spotless, and honestly way nicer than expected. The apartment felt freshly remodeled, every detail was thoughtfully done, and it was stocked with drinks, snacks, towels, and toiletries... basically more prepared for my arrival than I usually am. This place was absolutely fantastic. Great location, adorable interior, comfortable, well-stocked, and just an all-around perfect stay. You won’t regret booking this place. Actually... you’ll regret not booking this place.

Everything was perfect. Nothing bad to say.

The location was exceptional, the unit was clean and decorated very nicely. The bathroom was modern, clean and lovely fixtures. The bedroom was cozy and well appointed. The host even left a bottle of wine for us.

It’s not terrible, but there is only one outlet in the unit. And the bed is a pull out/Murphy bed and wasn’t our preference for comfort (which varies from person to person). It was by no means uncomfortable, just not to our preference.

Apartment’s within the city centre

I stayed at the Mimosa room which is a bit cramped but just enough for single occupancy. If the headboard and adjacent cabinet and sofa next to the bed be removed it will give more space to the room. An installation of new electrical outlets, thicker hangers for coats/ jackets, flat iron clothes, and some bowls for those who have cereals for breakfast. An apartment signage could also help in locating the property.
