Not the best experience.

The owner replied fast for almost whatever we needed, and was very helpful and friendly. And the placement of the home is in the center of the old town.

There where hair everywhere ,towels ,floors etc , also it wasn't that clean. We booked for 7 people ,there were 6 pillows and towels ,we communicated with the owner and the cleaning lady came and dropped of towels and bedsheets only. The home didn't even have hand soap. there wasn't any coffee, the only pods that they had was probably from the previous stays because they were the wrong pods. Not a worthy stay , for 650 euros for 2 nights especially... Also you need to pay the tourist tax( 1 euro per person per night ) in cash only , and I was informed the night before we left the apartment.

A painful start to our vacation.

Local contact did not speak english and it was very difficult to communicate with her. In addition, she was always late to appointments if she even showed at all. House was not properly cleaned. Toothpicks above the beds and previous tenants travel information lying in the apartment. Exposed electrical sockets and cabinets not attached. Paper thin walls, noisy outdoors. Awful sliding doors on the bedrooms. Two toilet rolls for seven people. We had to delay our plans because the local contact didnt show to our appointment. Also delayed when we were leaving so we had to make the taxi wait.

The worth apartments that you can book in Kotor! 1) doesn’t look like on photo. 2) rooms are extremely small, you can’t even walk. In one room there was no wardrobe or something like that. 3) air conditioner was broken. In the middle of the July it felt like in the desert. 4) manager is local woman who speaks only Serbian, will not answer your calls and help you. Be ready to translate her rare messages through translator. 6) dirty and bad smell 7) water from air conditioner was dripping into my face whole night , felt myself as under the rain

Do not book - nothing like in pictures

Location was very central.

The pictures are what the apartment looked like probably 15 years ago. Tiny rooms, air conditioning is not working so you have to keep windows open. Paper thin walls so it wouldn't have helped to keep them closed. The bells from the Cathedral and the street noise throughout the night means it is impossible to sleep even with ear plugs. Only one roll of toilet paper for 3 days, 4 people in booking. The 'local manager' does not speak a word of English and didn't show up to collect keys. The downstairs bathroom has a fan that makes a squealing sound for 5-10 minutes when you turn on the light that wakes up everyone in the apartment. Two of the rooms have 'doors' that are basically wooden panels that are very difficult to roll side to side. One room has zero storage space for clothes or even the bag really. I have been at hostels that are better than this place. Do not do the mistake we did and book this place.

nice location - but sooo noisy day and night. the people are fantastic though, they are very helpful and understanding. they were happy for a late check in, and appreciating the change of plans. clean and tidy easy check in lovely views

very noisy - I saw that others have complained about the same. I can usually really handle noise but this was something quite different. the WiFi wasn’t very consistent. the doors were also very basic in the rooms, difficult to move.

too noisy, not like the photos, no water

staff was nice (Nada) she tried to help as much as possible as we were not happy with the place. they offered us a refund which was nice but we ended up staying cause we couldn’t find another place on such short notice.

we wanted to check out immediately after the first night cause it’s TOO NOISY. unless you’re a party group that comes home at 3 am this is not the place where you can sleep even with earplugs. noise is overwhelming- none of us could sleep for 4 nights. the place also looked nothing like the photos- it’s on two floors and rooms are very average with 4th room not having door. it was very disappointing to not find any water when we arrived after driving for 3 hours (even small bottle) and the fact they left one roll of toilet paper for 3 people for 5 days. overall would not come back there ever.

Cozy ; location

No invoice was issued. The host was not able to communicate in english which took us more time to finish the payment procedure. We paid city tax even though we had paid once in booking.

Exceptional

All the house was one apartment, it was very cool because we were 4 friends, so each gets a separate room. The apartment was very cozy, detail-oriented.

In Kotor, there are no street names, only house numbers, and if you are not familiar with the city, it's not easy to find your home. Despite all kindness of the cleaning lady, she doesn't 't speak English, so some information is understandable only in the body language :) Yes, you have to be very careful to choose the apartment in the old town center, because of the noise and loud music late at night.

Beautiful apartment

Beautiful apartment with modern decoration.. The 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom are in the first floor And the rest of the house in the second . We really loved it.

It is in the center of the old Town so be prepared for the noise around. There is a club very close so if you need a quiet place choose something else . If you want to be close to bars and clubs it is perfect.
