Amazing stay

Pure robbery, filth and scam

I booked this specific apartment with my friend and we clearly stated in our reservation that we were coming with a dog. The listing says it’s pet friendly and our booking was accepted. We arrived around 9–10 pm. For context, I am 4 months pregnant, so comfort and clarity were very important to me. Instead of the 30 m² apartment we reserved – which had a large bed (important to me for my pregnancy pillow), an additional bunk bed, and a private balcony – we were given a tiny 13 m² room with just one small bed. The “private balcony” was actually a junkyard filled with old stained mattresses and other trash. They charged us the full price, even though we later found out that this smaller unit is €30 cheaper. Their explanation was that they couldn’t accommodate us in the original apartment because of the dog, but no one informed us of this in advance. At 10 pm, pregnant and exhausted, I had no option but to stay. My friend went to the agency to demand a refund. She managed to get some money back, but only after being lied to repeatedly with different excuses. We also never received any official receipt. I had to squeeze into that small bed and the only bedding provided was a single sheet. I froze during the night, got sick the next day, and woke up surrounded by ants crawling all over the kitchen area. The sockets were broken everywhere, and the apartment was on the second floor – which was very difficult for me in my condition. This was pure robbery, filth, and scam. Avoid this agency at all costs – absolutely terrible experience.

Comfortable apartment in middle of old town.

Beautiful view and small balcony over the square. Beds were very comfortable. Friendly check in host.

Unfortunately we didn’t realise there would be loud music playing all hours outside our window. Due to staying over the weekend it went on till midnight. No kitchen towels to dry dishes or cutlery. Kitchen utensils very sparse. Tea and coffee cups but no kettle to boil water to make tea or coffee. One was delivered a few hours later when asked. ( needed a good clean before use though) Sink tap was clogged with minerals, quick unscrewing of the filter, cleaned and fixed. Attention to details and maintenance could be improved.

What was not to like... The location was amazing, our host Saša was exceptionally friendly, communicative, accommodating and very helpful! Anything you need, he can arrange it for you, which is not something you can find easily in Kotor.😊

Absolutely fabulous stay!!! We can't wait to return and will definitely be staying here again! The apartment was beautiful, clean and comfortable, the location was amazing, surrounded by restaurants and bars. We were smack bang in the middle of the old town with everything on the doorstep, couldn't have asked for better. But the real highlight was the owner Sasa, he made us feel incredibly welcome and went out of his way to make our stay even more memorable. My husband lost his binoculars in transit and when we asked Sasa if he knew anywhere we could buy some, he rang around to find a shop and then even took my husband on his motorcycle to the shop to collect them. This really saved my husbands holiday x whether we needed a taxi for excursions or to organise a boat trip, it was never too much for Sasa. Thank you so much for this fabulous holiday and we hope to see you again soon 😊

Dishonest manager, but the property is fine

I stayed in apartment Bella which was ok.

First of all I didn't stay at this apartment. It was under repair therefore the manager gave me another apartment which is called Bella and it is also advertised on booking. I maid for apartment Martin 124 EUR, but on booking the apartment Bella is advertised for 100 EUR. And the manager didn't mention that it is a different apartment and different price - he just took the money as for apartment Martin. Later I figured out myself that I got not what I paid for because Bella is significantly smaller. Later the manager let me stay one more night for free because of this situation which was good for me. However, I feel like if I wouldn't figure out myself that I got a different apartment which is cheaper, I would not get any compensation. Therefore I would recommend not to trust the manager of this property and check if you got what you paid for.

Tesisin sadece konumu iyiydi.

Oda leş gibi rutubet kokuyordu. Kapı bile adam akıllı bir kapı değildi. Boydan boya cam resmen vitrin kapısını odanın kapısı diyorlar. Teraslı diye tuttuğumuz odada teras olan yer resmen hapishane avlusuydu. Arkadaşlarımla 2 gece için gittiğim bu yerde 2. Gece çıkış yapmamızı sağlayan şey ise yerlerde kırkayaklar ve hamam böceklerinin dolaşmasıydı. Tek gece dayandık ve ertesi gün için başka bir otele geçtik.
