Main Square View

We absolutely enjoyed our stay here! The apartment is quaint, very clean and comfortable, and the location could not have been better. It's right in the heart of Old Town overlooking the main square and only about a 2-minute walk from the main Sea Gate, so we were close to everything. Tons of restaurants, cafes and bars at your footsteps. And it is near to one of the entrances to walk the Kotor walls. The balcony overlooking the square was probably our favorite part of the apartment. It was such a great place to sit, relax and people-watch. We felt like we were right in the middle of all the energy and excitement of Old Town while still having our own private space to enjoy it. Our host, Tatijana, was incredibly accommodating and responsive. We communicated directly through Booking.com before and throughout our stay, and she always responded quickly. She met us personally at the apartment when we arrived, welcomed us and gave us a tour to make sure we had everything we needed. She went above and beyond during our stay. She walked us to the tourist office to help us take care of the local tourist fee, sent us restaurant recommendations, gave us tips on nearby beaches and where to find the grocery store, and even dropped off beach towels for us to use. Those thoughtful touches really made us feel welcome and well taken care of. The building also felt very safe and secure. There is no elevator, but the apartment is only one short flight of stairs up, so it wasn't an issue for us even with luggage. Similar to other reviews, you will hear some noise and sounds from the Main Square especially if you are staying in the front bedroom but it was bearable and was not late into the evening. However, we were staying Sun-Tues, in September so things are quieter then. If you want to experience Kotor while actually feeling like you're part of Old Town rather than simply visiting it, this is a fantastic place to stay. We would absolutely stay here again.

The host was really helpful in terms of meeting us on arrival and providing all the help and detail we needed. The location is superb if you want to be right in the middle of everything. The small balcony was brilliant for chilling out and watching the busy crowds.

Nothing to dislike. But because it is right in the heart of the old town there will be noise from the square. But to be fair that doesn't go on too late.

The location was fantastic. We could sit on balcony and watch life happening below us when we wanted a small break from town. The apartment was so cool on hot days, aircon was not always necessary. Tanja our host was amazing and very happy to help with any questions we had. The apartment was her childhood home, and you could feel it was a family home. Beautiful furniture in the lounge, huge mirrors. We overlooked a restaurant which never stopped us from a food nights sleep. Thank you for a fantastic stay.

My stay was to short.

It overlooked the main square of the old town of Kotor so everything within the old town was accessible.

There was loud dance or nightclub music in one of the venues in the square until 2am that kept those in the front room awake. There was also not enough toilet paper, dishwashing tablets, or bowls.
