We loved the view most of all! The staff was friendly and attentive, and our room was beautiful (note the bathroom note below). Loved the intimacy and quiet of only 14 rooms. We also had prompt and helpful communication with the hotel via booking.com, which we greatly appreciated. Once we discovered we could get a ride with the hotel into Perast instead of climbing the steep steps everyday, we enjoyed our conversations with the driver :)

Our room was spacious with 2 king beds, but the bathroom was tiny. There was no place in the shower to put our own toiletries, and the door was always in the way. The coffee machine worked some mornings and not others. Even though we had a private terrace (we were on the ground floor near the pool) with our room, other guests often sat on it thinking it was communal. We had no idea that there were vey steep steps to reach the water level restaurants. The breakfasts were average, but the wait staff was great. No upscale restaurant for dinner.

Breakfast was fine but the breakfast room was very small and the four tables were taken, so we had to go elsewhere upstairs in a room carrying our breakfast up and own the stairs. It was raining hence the terrace was closed.

The restaurant was closed during our stay and the access to the restaurants below were highly dangerous old steps descending about 100 feet. There is no other way down apart from a long walk on the main busy road with no lighting or pavements.

Outstanding location. The rooms were spacious and well equipped overall a very nice experience.

Restaurant closed and had been closed for some weeks due to “technical problems. We were not informed in advance. Snacks only available until 17.30. Booked a room with balcony but we were given a superior room with private terrace which was not private and used regularly by other guests. Aircon did not work properly in bedroom and could not be adjusted. Difficult to sleep. Shower room was ridiculously small. No wash basin in toilet. Hotel is situated high up above Perast- steep and uneven steps to reach restaurants makes access difficult for those with reduced mobility. Hotel kindly arranged a driver for us on second night. Parking outside the hotel was 25 euros per day. Breakfast was disappointing compared to other hotels in the region. No fresh coffee; no fresh bread. No freshly cooked breakfast. Limited service. Staff were all kind and tried to solve problems. But they were clearly inexperienced and not properly trained. Definitely not a five star hotel in my opinion. The only thing that was 5 stars was the price!
