Heritage Grand Perast

The hotel is amazing in terms of views and beautiful facilities, however, the indoor pool is not warm, the outside pool is freezing and even if it's 26C degrees you freeze inside the room and in your bathroom - why? Because the hotel does not have heating system on during the summer and this is what the receptionist said to me when I complained that the shower had no hot water, my room was freezing and the towel rail was not turning up... awful experience! Unless you're a person who feels hot all the time you won't be comfortable at this hotel. Then the staff is lovely however service is poor to non-existent. Breakfast buffet is good, but coffee can take a really long time as it appears that there's no table number system and they can't cope with busy times. For lunch/dinner and drinks during sunset even worse, you wait forever for a table even though the restaurantis empty, then staff is not really interested to serve you, hence why the restaurants are not at all busy compared to others around the hotel. When we arrived we were told we had a room upgrade, that was definitely not the case, we were given a family room with a double bed and an upstairs room w two twin beds not sure for what if it was only my husband and I. We got to the room and smelt cigar, I wait to see if it would go away but it didn't, I complained and was told that the hotel is strictly non-smoking which again it's not true as the smell lingered and even woke me up on our final day/morning. I really wish I was writing a remarkably happy review, unfortunately that wasn't the case... having said that the location is absolutely stunning but I cannot recommend the facilities of this hotel as it is. Just to make sure I'm not exaggerating, all my complaints were confirmed by a group of 6 other guests who were talking about the same issues by the sunbeds... it's such a shame to have this experience in a wonderful scenery hotel.

The rooms were spotless, spacious, and beautifully decorated, and the location was excellent. The staff were incredibly welcoming, kind, and helpful, always making sure that everything was perfect for us. The service was impeccable, and we truly felt at home. We had a wonderful stay and could not have asked for anything better. Everything was simply perfect! We would definitely come back and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

We stayed here for 4 nights in late August 2026, and it’s a very nice. The junior suite we had was spacious and had a partial sea view. The staff is very good, too. When they could not arrange for the house car, they offered to pay for one way of a taxi ride. This hotel is historic but has modern facilities, including effective strong air conditioning, required for summers in Montenegro. I also liked the buggy they arranged to pick us up from the main street right to the hotel, as outside cars are not allowed.
