Convenient to the CBD.

It certainly didn’t reach the advertised standard of ‘Luxury Penthouse’. Being able have sone chairs on the small deck would have been nice. It’s just a basic apartment on the top floor.

Excellent location for Spark arena and good for 1-2 night stay

Very close (approx 4min walk) to Spark Arena. Very clean and had everything we needed for a two night stay. 20minute walk into the city, approx 8minutes to the supermarket. Kids enjoyed using the tennis rackets on the court.

The train track is just outside and very noisy -I’m not sure whether the description mentioned it. This probably isn’t the place for you if you need to sleep during the day. It could do with a heat pump for air conditioning as by the afternoon the apartment was hot and the fans/opening the windows didn’t do much to cool the space down. We asked for either an early check in or just to be able to drop our bags off a couple of hours earlier than the 3pm check in and the answer was no - we would have preferred to pay extra for this as we had to locate storage lockers (hint: spend the afternoon at the Auckland Museum, they have lockers to hire). We had no vehicle, 4x bags and a carseat so the hosts being inflexible for the check in was a pain.

False Advertising. The pool is out of order

The location was good. The view was nice. Big windows.

There was no functional swimming pool. The advertisement showed a picture of a lovely indoor swimming pool. The description of the property even mentions a pool. But the pool was empty and all the decking around the outer edge had been ripped up. This is false advertising. We were extremely disappointed. Our kids were devastated. The pool was a major draw card. You need to change your advertisement to reflect that the pool is not functional. Very disappointed considering this is a holiday we have been looking forward to for a long time. And would it be so difficult to put some milk in the fridge? Do better.

Great location. Good communication, but 'luxury' didn't quite match the reality.

The location was great - especially when attending an event at Spark Arena.

We were disappointed with a few things...there was a mix up with the communications for what room we were staying in (this was AI generated) and we were given duplicate information for another room that we went to first - and then had to recheck our messages to see we had been sent instructions for two rooms. We had to move our car and luggage. We also had difficulty finding the carpark - this could be clearer to say take Te Taou Crescent, not Ronanye Street when driving. We were disappointed that the pool was undergoing maintenance and wasn't usable. The title of the property mentions a pool and when we communicated this with the host they said they had requested an update to the listing...but that this would take a week. We subsequently found out from the Building managers that the pool had been out of action for two months. This should have been communicated better, with guests being informed. There were some 'concerning' stains on the couch - the host informed us this had been professionally cleaned...but we chose not to use it. The fans in the bathroom did not work :(

The accommodation was clean and suited the needs for what we were looking for. It was walking distance to just about everything, so we didn't have to drive anywhere until we left

The pool is under construction. Something that should be said or notified before arrivals. The pool isn't the reason we chose this accommodation. However, if it's there, we are going to use it. After a long day of walking all around the city, we got our family ready for the pool and a nice swim only to find it under construction. This was very disappointing.

Description as a luxury penthouse is misleading! The apartment is dated with cheap furniture and appliances. Sofa was dirty, toilet in main bathroom was dirty, the oven didn't work property and the fans in both bathrooms don't work. The art on the walls and plastic plants are bad taste and the apartment smelt. We stay in Auckland for business often and I certainly cannot recommend this apartment!!

The place was lovely, clean and welcoming. The instructions given were very helpful, and when I contacted the hosts to ask where the pool and sauna were they responded pretty quickly. We had a great stay, though less of us than I'd booked for due to change in plans. There was plenty of bedding, towels etc in the apartment. The sauna was nice, I wish we'd used it again before leaving. I saw a recent review suggesting a lamp for the lounge, and the hosts have listened and added one. It's such a handy location, would be great to book if I'm going to an event at the arena, you can see it from the balcony. I would happily rebook this accommodation 😊

The pool is closed for renovations, luckily the sauna was open, we were much more excited about that, and it would have closed after I booked the room. The trains are loud, but we were out late so they weren't a big problem.

Home away from home

Everything. It felt like home away from home for my family. The blankets smelt amazing and were so warm, and the beds were very comfortable. Close to Spark Arena, with private parking. Will definitely be coming back again.

Overall very good and good value.

No fault of the host but the photos sent to collect the keys did not download to my email. I rang Eduardo and he answered immediately and resent them promptly. The apartment is a really good size with good facilities. Fantastic to have two car spaces. Plenty of towels provided. There is noise from the trains but they didn't bother us. Loved the views of the port at night.

The garage is confusing to find at 5pm in the traffic, however once the photos downloaded it was a little easier. The cleaner needs to wash ALL of the linen. My partner found 4 long black hairs on his pillow case and as he has short grey hair I can confirm they weren't his!

We absolutely loved this penthouse apartment. Was cosy, with great views and a great location.

We loved the views, and the decor, layout and faciilities were very good. The off street parking was great with internal access. The location, proximity to the city, the motorway made it the perfect place to stay for us. The master bedroom bed and ensuite wer wonderful. Seeing the sun rise and seeing the lights from the the master bedroom was just beautiful. Access to the gym and swimming pool was great

The trains starting at 5:30 in the morning were a bit loud, but that's city living. An oven tray and a larger pot would have been useful to allow a bit of basic cooking.

Everything was immaculate. So pretty & comfy with practically everything you could need! Everyone enjoyed the space and we're excited to come back. 2 x Parking was awesome as my parents came from North Shore and I came from the South. Very convenient and the main reason I chose this apartment originally Perfect Location for attending a concert/show like we did (Jo Koy) @Spark Arena. We used the back door (near tennis court) to walk less than 200meters to the entrance and thankfully avoided most of the rain etc. Plenty of books, games etc to keep my toddler busy and she adored them all Beds were AMAZING. I often struggle to sleep well away from home but beds, covers and pillows felt like a cloud Large comfy couch fit all 4 of us easily Large sturdy table was nice to enjoy dinner at together Balcony to watch the city come to life and follow the trains path/chat with my daughter about everything happening below Heater for each room (although didn't need it as rooms warm already) Vacuum - amazingly helpful with a crumbly kid like mine! Shower water pressure incredible Check in was a breeze - instructions and advice from host were clear, concise and pleasant to communicate with Appreciate everything about our stay, we had a wonderful time TYSM!!

-The lounge lighting is amazing and bright, however it spans the majority of the apartment so could do with a lamp for a low lighting option. My mother was up all night working at the table; the rooms were so nice and warm we kept the door open which meant the bright light was unavoidable as it filtered into our room (very minor grievance mind you and only affected me because I never sleep with light) also made it a bit hard to wind down watching a movie / letting my toddler play in the lounge with either 95% darkness or 150% blaring light as the only options -No Coasters to protect the beautiful table (we used tea towels with our hot teas and coffees) -No Hangers minor but would've been great as there was perfect & expansive storage space for our winter / rain coats etc we'd brang along -Main bathroom fan wasn't working (at least not efficiently or enough to tell) -Instructions to Rubbish Room needed Sorry we couldn't find it 😅
