Our stay was very disappointing

Our stay was very disappointing. The listing was misleading—it didn’t clearly say that it is a shared apartment where the toilet, kitchen, and other facilities are shared with many guests. The room had a sunroof with no cover, so it was very difficult to sleep. Because of this, we lost two nights of proper rest. At the same price, there were private apartments available, but we wasted two days due to this unclear information.

Common spaces were fine. Room with single beds needed ventilation and felt old.

Needs to provide shampoo etc rather than just leave other people’s goods to use. Hairdryers didn’t work. Upgrade bed covers.

Concern was that there was on site parking, but had to park on the street due to the poor parking of outhers staying there at the same time. Also we had to change rooms at the last minute which didn't quite suit us but we went with it.

Not pretty and not little. The house was like an old man that creaked with every step and was difficult to sleep. Parking was offered but was a contest.

Joke, uncooperative, liars.

Nothing. I didn't even stay in the end.

The advert for every room says they have a hot tub and fireplace. What they fail to explain is that what they believe is a 'hot tub' is actually a bath. Ye ye maybe sometimes it is a 'hot tub' when the bath is filled with hot water. I booked it thinking there'd be a nice quiet space to use, but na it's a big shared bathroom, where anyone can take a bath! Then they tell you they aren't the owner and they have no way of knowing if you can have a refund. But what they can do is take your money, never respond to you or even booking.com and then even when you don't use any of the facilities or stay there, they will still not refund you. If you are happy to book something simple with loads of shared facilities I imagine it's great. If they are advertising rooms with hot tubs and you get there and it's actually a bath, then ye you're gonna be annoyed.

Adequate residence as I booked at short notice

Lovely and warm- excellent heating, excellent large fridge. Dry inside despite deluges of rain. Despite age, bathroom and kitchen were adequate. Main building beautiful well looked after antique property. Host quick to assist with any queries or problems.

Non existent garden for an advertised garden flat. Missing sugar- host tested the white powder provided with his finger twice- at least he used a different finger- we think it was milk powder. Stepped on rodent excreta in bedroom in my slippers - very smelly. Very old worn kitchen and bathroom. Had to cast from my phone to watch tv as no signal.

Our one-night stay at the Victorian house in Mt Eden, Auckland, was very pleasant. We appreciated the comfortable accommodation and excellent location. The house's classical figures and overall ambiance provided a unique and enjoyable setting.

The price (mid-winter special) was amazing value. Central location, quiet, fab rooms (we had a king with ensuite), shared kitchen with full facilities, laundry. Great for several nights. Space to store food. Like being at home!

Being June, the house being 115yrs old is cold without heating. The kitchen we didn’t stay loo long. Bedrooms were fine once the heating kicked in. The TV signal in our room was weak. We did struggle to make contact by mobile phone.

The staff member was really really excellant. The best hostess I've ever ever met.

I am still waiting for a refund. I stayed 2-3 hours n was going to stay two nights I went there for quiet to study because we had builders n i had an assignment due.. So I needed quiet and internet. On add said soundproof room. The toilet flushed by my ears behind the wall. The internet didn't work. Even though the really lovely staff member restarted it for me. Room opposite kitchen.

Wirkliche eine Casa Bonita in der Nähe von Mount Eden

Sehr gut ausgestattete Wohnung mit sehr freundlichen Gastgebern. Unser Zimmer war etwas hellhörig, aber die Nachtruhe wurde eingehalten also haben wir hervorragend geschlafen. In der Küche gab es viel Stauraum also wäre es auch für längere Aufenthalte geeignet. Der Garten war schön, genau wie das große Zimmer.

Die Innenstadt ist fußläufig etwas weit weg, aber es fahren Busse in der Nähe. Direkt anliegend ist der Mount Eden, der ebenfalls empfehlenswert ist.

Rettenetesen hideg volt a szobában és a fürdőszobában is. A fűtő berendezés nem tudta felmelegíteni a szobát, több réteg ruhában aludtunk.
