Would recommend, well set out unit

Good bed, top shower, facilities like washing machine, dryer, microwave, toaster. Price was good, clean and well serviced. Locked car parking off street. Staff very helpful and friendly. Great Thai food across road.

If needing a Carpark need to call just before arrival to access Carpark. Staff was very helpful and accommodating thou

It was a pleasant stay being so close to the city.

Paid parking although expensive, was attached to the hotel and very convenient. The room was large. There were a few problems, however, however, they were rectified very quickly by the manager.

The shower fitting was broken, but still managed to work albeit carefully! The problem should have been picked up by the cleaner and reported and fixed before we arrived.

Similar downsides that others have mentioned - street noise, lobby and lift are a bit run down, some areas in the room is not well cleaned, but overall doesn’t impact the stay too much

Great location on Hobson Street, the managers communication for an after hours check in was fantastic and I will be staying here again, I am sure! Parking was GREAT.

The building looks like it is getting some constriction etc, so be mindful of that in the common areas, but the rooms themselves were fantastic.

Nice big room. Comfortable beds

The room was very large and the beds were very comfortable. Location was good, about 15 min walk to queen street etc. It was clean and had everything we needed. The man that checked us in was friendly and told us everything we would need to know. It's not 5 star fancy but we were not expecting that anyway. Good value for money

Noisy (Stayed Sat night)

Location is good. That's all.

Noisy. Possibly came from Sat night however super loud vehicle, motorbike, police, ambulance noises from Hobson Road, possibly from motorway too. Windows must need to upgraded to better ones like double glazing or sound proof ones. Couldn't sleep around 2am. Some noisy people around too. Elevator was malfunctioned when I used around 10.30pm, stopped the floor I stayed but didn't open. Pressed yellow emergency button, no one answered and moved back to the ground floor. Room was okay, not great - pay as you expected at CBD. Old building, facility. No hairdryer at the room (and no one at front around 9pm so could not get one then).

Great value, good location, comfortable and quiet

Location was good, room was quiet other than some guests slamming doors and running and yelling in the hallway late. Room was clean and tidy with good amenities, bed comfy. But the towel rail heater didn't work and the bathroom extract fan didn't work or we couldn't figure out how to work it.

A budget friendly, comfy city stay

Great location. Easy check in and friendly hosts. Big room with plenty of storage. On the intersection of a busy road but with the windows closed you can barely hear the traffic outside. Large comfy bed, would definitely stay again!

The room lacked a mirror apart from in the bathroom. The showerhead was slightly broken and had to be positioned/balanced carefully but still worked. Also there were no teaspoons to make coffee.

Comfortable and quiet stay

Host was friendly and thoroughly went through the instructions for access to carpark, building and room. We were able to book in early which was so appreciated. Easy access to the events we were attending.

Big room, very comfortable, great price . Cheapest accommodation in Auckland City for the night that’s not a hostel or backpackers.

It’s still under construction. The entrance and elevator area looks like an abandoned office block so I was surprised by the very nice large room.

We liked the cost of the property, and the distance from the centre of Auckland, the staff were always nice and welcoming. The things we didn’t like were, the kitchen part of the room, there wasn’t anywhere to dry plates, cutlery, bowls and pans after use, there wasn’t a tea towel to use to dry anything off. there also wasn’t a lot of plates, bowls and cutlery for us to use. The oven also didn’t work.

I’d not be back nor recommend

Room was large.

Not easy to gain access to building to check in, you need to call the number on the door then wait for them to come, but I had a car so had no safe place to stop and get out of the car to read the actual sign, then when the worker showed up in a hoodie and jandals I was not sure what to think, was quiet unprofessional, accessing the carpark every time was not easy, had to leave my car on the pathway and run through the building back into the parking garage to enter the code. There was so many security doors to try leave and come back in. The lift smelt like urine. The room has a strong room scent that had given me a headache by the next day.

The size of the room was very spacious, staff cleaning the room every day without us requesting the service, it was very clean. Close to everything. Overall, I was happy with the room and service for the price we paid. Very secure as well.

The first impression of the hotel from the street view looked like an abandoned building. Walking in the front didn't change that impression until getting off the lift to our floor. It was like stepping out into a totally different building. Everything looks nice after that, including the room. The room needs a microwave and maybe a small dining table.
