About this cottage rental
Experience this beautifully presented mid-terraced house, where comfort meets style. Hillside Cottages boasts three generous bedrooms, and provides the ideal retreat, nestled in a quiet, residential area just a short stroll from the town centre and the scenic River Dart. Located within a 5 minute walk of the town centre, the property is set back from the street, with steps leading past a charming paved and gravelled front garden.
Step inside to a welcoming entrance hall, complete with a ground-floor cloakroom, which opens into the open-plan living area. The spacious dining and sitting area is bathed in natural light from a large bay window, with two comfortable sofas perfect for relaxing and reflecting on the day's adventures. The dining table comfortably seats six, making it ideal for enjoying meals prepared in the well-equipped, spacious kitchen, featuring an American-style fridge freezer, range cooker, dishwasher, and washing machine.
Upstairs, the three spacious bedrooms and family bathroom await. On the first floor, you'll find a superking bedroom (which can be converted to twins upon request) and a twin bedroom, perfect for younger guests, with a playroom/dressing area which is also furnished with a desk should you need to catch up on emails. The stylish family bathroom with a bath and separate shower completes this level. The second floor offers a bright attic bedroom, with a Juliet balcony that frames beautiful views of the surrounding countryside, providing a tranquil spot to unwind.

OUTSIDE
To the rear of the property is a rear walkway set up with a small table and bistro chairs and an ideal spot to dry towels after a day at the beach.
PARKING
Although there is no parking at the property a parking permit is provided for you to use at the Mayors Avenue pay and display car park in an unallocated space. Please note that this car park is closed during Dartmouth Regatta but alternative parking is available at the Dartmouth Park and Ride. The parking permit can also be used in various car parks around the South Hams.

We stayed for 4 nights in May. This is a well designed house, with a spacious sitting room and dining area right by the kitchen on the ground floor, which was nice and cool during the recent heatwave. The bedrooms are large and comfortable and very well presented, with good mattresses and excellent linen and towels. There are nice touches and features such as the internal shutters at the front of the house, pictures from local artists, all decorated to a high standard. The bathroom has a powerful waterfall shower and beautiful marble tiling. Not far to walk into the town centre where the parking is located. The Dart Valley team were all very helpful and communicative, especially when we needed to amend our booking.

We really enjoyed out stay at the house, it was very clean well kitted out and in a great location. It was only about an 8 minute walk to the centre of town, although there was a bit of a hill on the way back up it wasn't too bad and managed fine by older people that we with us. would definitely book again with the same company.

Excellent accommodation. Would stay at Hillside Cottage again. Beds very comfortable and kitchen equipment adequate although a heavy based frying pan would be beneficial especially as I intend to go again. Thankyou

It's got everything you could possibly need, very clean & tidy. An easy walk into Dartmouth.
