About this house rental

The Classroom is part of our converted original primary school. It's ideally situated in the peaceful rural location of North Kessock and at the same time close to NC500 and just a 5 minute drive to Inverness City. The light, bright apartment provides the opportunity for you to unwind and relax. If the weather's good- you can enjoy the large garden complete with swing, outdoor fireplace and the bbq. If the weather isn't so great, you can be cozy inside.

It was a darling place to stay with everything we needed. It was lovely to have a washer and rack to hang clothes. Our hosts were so gracious. The mattress was a little too firm for us, but otherwise it was perfect.

This place is amazing. Such a high quality, spacious space. We were only there for a quick night, wish we could have stayed a few days. Next time! Ellie met us after arriving to make sure we had everything we needed and to answer any questions and gave us some great suggestions. The washing machine and heated drying rack were perfect for middle of our trip. The personal touches (including fresh bread and milk) were added bonuses. The kitchen is well stocked. We stay at a lot of VRBO’s and this place is in the top 1%. Thank you Ellie. PS: the coos down the street at Ness Farm were a nice stop on way to Loch Ness, Ellie told us where to find them.

Perfect location for touring around Inverness area. Stayed in the classroom which was ideal for our requirements. Spacious sitting room and kitchen, large bedroom and shower room. Lovely quiet location with access to main road A9 only a minute away. Hosts were excellent and kept us well informed. Hopefully can arrange a return visit.

We had an amazing stay at the Classroom. The space is beautiful and spacious, the hosts were welcoming, and check in was easy. Beautiful, quiet country location only minutes from downtown Inverness, but be sure to check the map provided by the hosts, as the GPS sent us down the wrong road. Enjoyed the view of the sheep in the fields just beyond the garden, nearby hiking and accessability to Inverness and surrounding sights. Will reccommend to anyone travelling to the region and hope to return in the future!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the smartly renovated classroom. The location is the best of both worlds; both conveniently situated off the highway and only minutes to Inverness, yet with beautiful, idyllic country views. Ellie is a warm, welcoming host with a keen eye for detail. She greeted us, provided a quick tour, and kindly stocked the fridge and cabinet with breakfast provisions. We appreciated her thoughtful touches such as a bedside water decanter, sweet treats, and cozy blanket. Thanks Ellie! The apartment is nicely set-up and very spacious, quiet, clean, and comfortable. The kitchen is functional, well-equipped, and organized. The huge bathroom is nicely done with ample space for toiletries; a definite plus when traveling. Two other pluses which made our stay more enjoyable were the heated clothes drying rack and large smart TV. We truly loved everything about this home away from home and highly recommend Ellie’s hidden gem to anyone coming to the area.
