Welcome to The Courtyard, a charming two-bedroom recently converted barn in Northamptonshire, in the peaceful hamlet of Falcutt, near Helmdon with its traditional village pub along with other pubs in the area, all serving food.
The Courtyard features an inviting open-plan layout with a fully equipped kitchen, living area, and dining space, ideal for cosy gatherings, and if you need a workspace, the main bedroom has a desk.
Both bedrooms are Super Kings that can be arranged as twin beds if preferred, making it flexible for couples, friends, or families. A main bedroom has a close by separate shower room.
The enclosed back patio gets all the morning sun offering a secluded spot for a lazy breakfast, and the separate west facing patio is a tranquil spot for an evening drink while watching the resident bird life. Though situated in the owners grounds, the cottage offers privacy and a restful escape.
Falcutt is a quaint and tranquil hamlet that epitomises English countryside charm. Surrounded by rolling fields, it offers ample opportunities for scenic walks and cycling routes right from the doorstep, making it a haven for those who love the outdoors.
It’s in a perfect position to explore the area being 10 minutes from Silverstone Circuit - a major attraction for motorsport fans with thrilling events throughout the year - plus 25 minutes from Bicester Village Retail Park and 45 minutes from Stratford upon Avon.
Just a short drive away the historic small town of Brackley beckons with its array of local shops, cafes , butcher and weekly market. For those interested in history and architecture National Trust properties nearby are Stowe House and Garden, offering beautiful landscapes and Grand architecture, and Canons Ashby.
