We had a lovely week at Fox. The cottage was one of the best we’ve stayed in. There are lots of lovely walks direct from the cottage which was useful as a dog owner. Fox is in an ideal location to explore the rest of the Cotswolds too. Thoroughly recommend

Lovely home on the farm with nice views, spacious and nicely decorated. Definately recommend and in a decent location to get to other places. Not much going on around the area specifically. There was just a few things that is more feed back to make it better rather than anything negative per say. 1. Beds, Pillows and Blankets very incomfortable. Beds very firm, pillows we very hard and the quilt cover felt like cardboard. Wasnt a good night sleep. Just change these to nice soft pillows and comfy quilt/bedding and it would be a big difference. 2. The kettle was just caked in limescale and not pleasant to use - a limescale remove before guests came would be 5 minute job. Shame because the rest of the decor is nice. 3. I know your on a farm but people are going to be coming in their own cars not suitable for those tracks, the roads/paths leading up /down to premises, it be good to smooth out and the stones used are quite big, i was worried of my tyres were going to pop anytime, or car wheel hitting some holes. 4, Earlier check in, 4pm feels very late when you only have 2 properties to clean something like 2pm would be better. 5. Bathroom window, lookout to the farm yard/buildings, not opaque but clear. I know there was a blind but still feels weird. Again this are just things to make this place go from great to excellent....

Our stay at the Fox was better than we even imagined. Our puppy loved the open space and it was a great location for getting to some of the best towns in the Cotswolds. The cottage itself is immaculate and modern with very cosy beds and great facilities. We will 100% be staying again!
