Location the & the property layout, it had everything you need from milk to tea coffee, Netflix on an evening, I loved that both rooms had en-suite’s and the most important was the fan the host left for us to use!

We had a lovely stay overall. The bungalow is homely, full of character and fits with the surrounding area. The owner was incredibly responsive, friendly and helpful throughout. We really appreciated that both bedrooms had ensuite bathrooms, and the fan the host kindly left for us was a lifesaver during the warm weather! The layout of the property worked really well, the new corner sofa was exceptionally comfortable and the views from the garden were absolutely stunning.

There were a few areas that could be improved. The décor is a little dated and although we booked the night before, the property wasn't quite as clean as we would have expected. There were no dishwasher tablets provided, which would have been useful. Some of the doors were difficult to lock and unlock and the Wi-Fi was quite unreliable during our stay. The single beds have adjustable back and knee sections, which may suit some guests but made them feel quite firm for the adults staying in this room. The fridge/freezer was very small for four people, and I suspect it has been replaced since the original photos were taken. We also experienced some issues with the toilet flushing properly in the main ensuite. Despite these minor issues, we enjoyed our stay and felt the positives outweighed the negatives.
