Cosy little Witney stay.

Comfy & cosy, excellent vfm, not far from Witney village with many shops & free parking etc (car 5mins, walk maybe 20). Plenty of hot water and controllable heating. Large rooms. Great prompt communication with owner. Parking for 2 cars. Don’t be put off by driving through the large housing estate, your sat nav is on the right route (the drive is a little tight but not a problem). Beautiful fields to the rear.

Nothing too much at all, price reflects type of property but knowing some people expect 5 star accommodation for 2 star money I will just mention that the bathrooms though perfectly clean and functional are a little dated. A few extra mugs & teaspoons might not go amiss.

Everything met our needs, little dated interior, but that adds to the charm of this countryside gem!

Hosts were very helpful with last minute booking and change of plans for them on our behalf. Location is beautiful! Home is cosy and Comfortable. Parking Space is good. Garden view is on another level.

Good value for money but some routine caretaking is required.

Not within walking distance of the town but quiet and secure. Kettle and toaster were new. Milk and butter left for us which was nice. Lola was quick to get us help when problem occurred with TV.

Couches, toilet seat, empty salt and pepper, missing food recycling bags, cold floors, faulty door lock, hole in garden fence (almost lost our pet!), no instructions on TV operation (pixillation problem)

Convenient for places we planned to visit.

It was in a good location for us as we wanted to visit the Farmers Dog, Diddly Squat, Burford and Bampton

The access was difficult when the neighbour opposite parked their car in front of the garage. Shower dated. There was water coming from under the washing machine. No mop available. No instructions about rubbish/recycling. Access to garden was through bedroom. A bit dated.

Pleasant stay but I think decor needs updating

Very clean bungalow and comfortable double bed, good location.

Single beds were quite small for adults and not comfortable, I found it hard. Furnishings and decor were very dated - could do with updating the TV stand.

Great accommodation. Absolutely loved staying here. Lovely and clean. Everything you could need. Wished we could have stayed longer!

If I had to find one the only fault I could possibly find would be the shower pressure was awful! However absolutely didnt ruin our stay.

Cosy, spotless, comfortable, very peaceful cottage, just perfect.

The location was very good for Cornbury house Horse Trials. Beautiful, comfortable cottage. Loved the fresh milk & tea and coffee supplied, it was so nice to have a cup of Tea when we arrived late. Thank you.

The only Issue was the post code on our booking it was listed as ox283jd with booking .com However the correct postcode is ox281jd a little bit confusing in the dark and late at night.

Very clean, homely, clearly the owners cares. Beds were comfortable and it is such a peaceful location. Lola who looks after the property is professional and responsive. Fantastic to interact with. Really nice touch to leave fresh milk in the fridge, thank you.

Lacking in facilities, bed uncomfortable, dirty fridge, freezer not working, unkept back yard. Broken fences so dogs could escape. Issues with toilet flushing, old decor. For the cost of one night it wasn’t worth it.

Lively cottage; super helpful

Lovely cottage and a good size. We booked VERY last minute (less than an hour before arrival) due to a let-down elsewhere and really appreciated the fast turnaround to get us in. Thank you!

Some minor additions in kitchen would be helpful but not an issue. Single beds have auto adjusters (back and knees) which does make them quite firm for younger people. Also not really an issue.

If we hadn't needed somewhere in that area at short, fairly notice would not have booked it

Clean, bed was comfortable,

Parking was very difficult. Sofas were way too soft to be comfortable. Unable to open door onto rear garden from either door. There are no tumbler style glasses for drinks other than 4 wine glasses, which weren't suitable for children. Although we knew there was no wifi for the price charged, it should be available. Rear garden look tatty from windows and we were unable to access it.

Really lovely cottage, lovely agent, lovely location, very nice place to stay!

The cottage was lovely, nice view , nice layout. Good beds and linen. Sweet packet of treats for our dog. Didn’t use the kitchen but it was very pleasant. Lola the agent was excellent.

Perhaps a laminated sheet of instructions, e.g. how to turn the heating on. There was a lump of hair in the shower but otherwise very clean. The bedside lamp was missing a lightbulb so we swopped it with one in the living room. The loo in the shower room is very close to the radiator and I burned my bum on the heater. But I am a bit fat! It would be nice to have some soap and shampoo sachets in the bathrooms, there usually is in B&bs so we hadn’t brought any. And extra loo roll.
