About this villa rental
The villa overlooks the remarkable Lake Batak, a picturesque location in Sout-West Bulgaria.It is at a distance of only 83 miles (140 km) from Sofia International Aiirport and 50 miles (80 km) from Plovdiv International Airport.
The villa has three bedrooms. Two of the bedrooms have a double bed and the third has 2 separate,single beds. Each one has a balcony with stunning lake/mountain views.
Downstairs,there is a comfortable lounge with log burner and a very well-equipped kitchen/diner. The adjoining terrace has superb panoramic views and provides a wonderful place for '.al fresco' dining. Satellite TV and Wi-Fi internet and a barbecue are provided.
There is a lovely garden, with a variety of plants and fruit trees.
The villa is an ideal place to rest and relax but there are ample opportunities for outdoor as walking and birdwatching plus cycling,fishing and water sports (rental facilities are located in Tsigov Chark only 2 km from the villa).5 km away is the historic town of Batak with interesting churches and museums.
Within half an hour of the villa you can visit waterfalls (at Fotinovo), ancient fortresses (at Tsepina and Peshtera), the Jurassic Museum (at Dorkovo), caves with fascinating rock formations (Snezhanka and Lepenitsa), childrens' via ferrata at Rakitovo, the amazing Septemvri-Dobrinishte narrow gauge railway and hot mineral water swimming pools in several locations including Velingrad ( 'the spa capital of the Balkans').
Within easy reach for a day trip are Bansko ( for skiing, outdoor pusuits and an international standard golf course) and Plovdiv (European Capital of Culture 2019).
The beautuful Greek beaches of the Aegean near stunning and historic Kavala can be reached with 4 hours.
