Belvedere Hills

It is a nicely Build Villa with everything essential for your stay. The staff was also very responsive

The jacuzzi didn’t work and we were not notified about this, we also would have liked bigger towels, paper roll for the kitchen which is a very small remark - that’s the main reason we give a lower score than 10 (a 9)

Belvedere Hills is a special place. The villas are really cute and each villa has its own BBQ and outside sitting area. The hosts are welcoming and kind. You can see how much they love this place and take really good care of it. Dogs are welcome with no extra fee. We tried the sauna, it is absolute gem! After using the BBQ you wake up with a clean BBQ and restocked sauna. We could not find a good store for fresh fish or meat in Dospat, but next time we will research better or bring our own. They have a vending machine for coffee. Bring some coins for it. 😊 Once you know all that, chances that you’ll have absolutely amazing stay there are high. 😊 This is definitely one of our favorite places in Bulgaria.

The WiFi in some villas can be improved and I believe they have plans to do that soon.

We had a great stay. I really liked the area, and the small cabins were cozy. There was a nice area for sitting outside the cabin with a bbq. The host was very polite and they answer quickly. We had a very good experience there, and already talked about visiting this accommodation again in the future.

The kitchen is a bit too small, and there should be more kitchen appliances, and maybe extra towels and a coffee machine. We only stayed there a few days, but I imagine that for a longer trip, it would be nice to be able to cook a bit more, or in case it rains, you can only sit on your bed.

Natural forest interior of the houses

We booked 3 nights at Belvedere Hills however were relocated to a different place without our knowledge. The new place was 10 min away / 5 km deep into the forest and did not match the original description (not a villa but a 2 bed apartment, no lake views, not enough seating for 6 people, no sauna or hot tube). We had to move to Belvedere Hills on the second day with all our luggage and kids which was quite inconvenient for our short 3 day trip. Belvedere Hills facilities were clean and matched the description. Friendly staff but miscommunications all along - they confirmed they would give us a refund for the first night, however changed their mind on the second day to a voucher which we did not accept as we will not be coming back.
