The location was great. The check-in was seamless. There was ongoing construction, which wasn't mentioned in the description, but I did read it in the reviews. We lost hot water one day, The host wasn't very communicative and either had incorrect information about the resolution of the issue or just didn't want to deal with it. nd the host initially said the unit was in the neighboring apartment, so we didn't have to hang around for the repair. Then, they said it was fixed, but it wasn't, and they finally stopped communicating with me. We did get the hot water back later in the day. So, not the end of the world, but it would have been nice to receive a response, an apology, something. We were there from 09/10 to 09/15. The listing says they supply towels. There were 3 threadbare bath towels and 3 threadbare hand towels. Having better quality towels and at least 2 bath towels each seems reasonable. I would urge the host to check out Flohmarkt or Garagenflohmarkt or a Hofflohmarkt. Maybe even estate sales in germany,

Great apartment centrally located in Hamburg. It was exactly as advertised and clean. Communication and check-in was easy. When we requested a parking spot in the building, the communication was excellent and very flexible. The street that the apartment is on is a nice residential street. Parking on the street can be tough.

The actual apartment is clean and acceptable. The building, though, is under renovation. It mostly did not matter, as we were gone most of the day, but the loud work started at 8 am and went until 6 pm.

Fairly easy to find with GPS. Access instructions a breeze. Beware of parking! Host suggested a parking garage very close and it was less than a minute walk. Totally secure. €20 per night

The check in was good, the appartment was clean. For 8 it was not really spacy but good enough. If you are with 5 it is perfect. With 8, three sleep in the living room. All the beds are comfy only the curtains do fit only half the window in the living room. This means getting up very early.

Very nice appartment in a beautiful neighborhood with public transport, supermarket and restaurants/cafes nearby. Good sleeping rooms, but the linnen was a bit old and the matrassess were hard. Very well equipped kitchen, although the fridge was noisy. The double toilet was a nice addition. We had to sort the garbage, but there was only one garbage bin. The house was very clean.

Spacious, modern, well-appointed apartment in a great location, steps from hip bars, laid-back restaurants and one of the best patisseries this side of Paris. Handy bus lines right outside and a 12 minute walk to the Altona station for rail and S-Bahn put all of Hamburg within easy reach. With a full bathroom, plus a separate toilet and a large living room with comfortable sofas and a full dining table, it really can accommodate large groups. We were four (mother + 3 big kids) and grateful to have the space to spread out. The lock box outside is perfect for sharing a single key among guests. The hosts are super responsive. We had a minor disaster when my oldest daughter locked us out, and the hosts responded within minutes and provided a spare key in another lock box nearby. The only drawback are the curtains, which don't sufficiently block out the light -- not a minor detail in Hamburg in June, when nights are very short. With windows open, street noise can be an issue. And the hairdryer that every other guest has commented on is still broken. But this is a great base for independent-minded travelers looking for a taste of the laid-back charm of this beautiful city.

The apartment is nice, clean and quiet, with a private parking. There are bakeries, supermarkets, restaurants and bars in a 100m radius. There are bus stops near the apartment and the Altona Banhof is a 10 minutes walk away . We'll probably stay there next time we're in Hamburg.

Curtains need immediate change it doesn't cover the whole window Bad pillows and mattresses The bathroom smells bad I wish you remove the word parking from the apartment facility it is very hard to find parking in the street I had to in parking for €20 a day.

The apartment is clean and well maintained. The key retrieval system worked perfectly as there were three of us sharing this unit with only one key provided. Nice big windows let in lots of light. I would say my ONLY issue was that the hairdryer needs to be replaced with one that actually can dry your hair.
