We had a bright and airy room with a balcony. The room and house feel very welcoming. The location is close to the metro and busses, yet very quiet at night. We highly recommend this accommodation for anyone wishing to stay in the northern suburbs of Hamburg.

Beautiful villa very close to the station. The room and bathroom is big enough with all the facilities.
The owner looked surprised when we arrived, perhaps they’d forgotten our booking. After checkout, we left our bags in the common area and told the owner we’d return around 4:00 p.m. When we came back at 4, we rang the bell and called the listed numbers, but no one answered. Fortunately, a neighbor helped us and we barely made it to the station in time for our train. The owner seems to speak only German, so maybe there was a misunderstanding about the pickup time even though I signaled “4” with my fingers and she agreed.
Bottom line: leave your bags at your own risk and confirm the plan with the owner multiple times. Also, the bedsheets were old and rough and should be replaced.
