Quiet and convenient private accommodation

We had a bright and airy room with a balcony. The room and house feel very welcoming. The location is close to the metro and busses, yet very quiet at night. We highly recommend this accommodation for anyone wishing to stay in the northern suburbs of Hamburg.

Great location, beautiful villa. Leave your bags at your risk after checkout.

Beautiful villa very close to the station. The room and bathroom is big enough with all the facilities.

The owner looked surprised when we arrived, perhaps they’d forgotten our booking. After checkout, we left our bags in the common area and told the owner we’d return around 4:00 p.m. When we came back at 4, we rang the bell and called the listed numbers, but no one answered. Fortunately, a neighbor helped us and we barely made it to the station in time for our train. The owner seems to speak only German, so maybe there was a misunderstanding about the pickup time even though I signaled “4” with my fingers and she agreed. Bottom line: leave your bags at your own risk and confirm the plan with the owner multiple times. Also, the bedsheets were old and rough and should be replaced.

Disappointing

The host showed very poor communication skills, empathy, and flexibility. We were asked to pay an additional fee in CASH at the property, without any prior notice. Since we didn’t have cash or a physical card, we offered to pay by card or Revolut, but the host refused and spoke to us in aggressive manner. The toilet and bathroom are shared with 6 people, with no shampoo or soap in bathroom. There was also no coffee maker. Guests are expected to leave the room in the exact same condition as when they arrived, including washing glasses and cleaning before leaving, which does not feel like a proper hotel service. Unfortunately, the host’s attitude towards Iranians was not good.

Location and atmosphere

The doors were not soundproof. It is considered that you rented a room in an apartment or house, and bathrooms are shared with other rooms.The price is too high for the value of the services.

Very nice house with a beautiful garden. Comfortable bedroom and clean rooms. The landlady was very helpful and kind. I was there for just one day and one night, but I felt very comfortable. I higly recommend

Location. Quality of this hotel. The owner. The cleanines. The friendly atmosphere. The beds. The services. The train station was just across the road and a shop less than two minutes walk away.

Nicely kept private home near public transit, friendly host, fridge in room.

Our room ( blues) was facing the often-busy road so it was a bit noisy at times. Having to share the bathroom with many others was not our favorite. The mattress could use updating. Kitchen access would have been nice.

Superb

The location was great! The metro did not work but a bus was put in place so we could reach the city in just 20min. The area was really quite and nice. The owner was also really nice. Since our train was at the end of the day we could let our backpack there and come back to pick them up. Really helpful from the lady :)

Great place to stay for vacation. The hostess is amazing.

The rooms were great, location is perfect and easy access to the city and shopping areas. This place is good place and the host is so nice and welcoming. The bus is 1 min walk and the train is 3 min walk. Transportation is cheap and easy. Make sure you have coins to use.

Not as advertised, but comfortable room without bath.

The room was lovely and the bed was quite comfortable.

The property lists English as a language. That is not true as communication was limited to hello, good-bye, internet and key. When google maps did not take us to the hotel, I tried to call for better directions. I was not understood. Luckily, a man who spoke both German and English spoke with the hotel to find out how we could get there. The concierge did meet us 150 meters from the door to show us in. I asked when I made the reservation if it had an en suite bath. The last day before cancellation was allowed, I called and asked on the phone, was was told that of course it had one. The day before we arrived, I received an email response to mine of a week before that the room did not have an ensuite bath.
