My apartment was changed on the very morning I was supposed to check in. I assumed I would receive the same or at least similar conditions. However, when I arrived at the newly assigned apartment, it was horrific.
The smell of mold and stale air hit me right at the entrance. The toilet seat was detached, paint was peeling off the walls, and the kitchen furniture was completely broken and filthy. The apartment had a sofa that was so stained you could see the dirt from a distance, I was honestly too afraid to even check the bed. To make matters worse, the balcony door wouldn't close properly.
The 'cherry on top' was that there were no actual light fixtures in the apartment; there were only two improvised lamps. I contacted the owner, but from the moment I told them we were leaving immediately and demanded a full refund, they stopped responding entirely. It was a horror show, simply inhumane conditions

The location near Zurich HB is good but we did not realize it is located nearby the unsafe neighborhood as the next morning of Jan 1 when we walked along the road towards downtown, trying to look for something to grab for breakfast in Zurich, we felt like we were in the wrong part of town.
The heater did not work at night we felt very cold. The beds were wobbly and too small for 3 adults though we are small. Our apartment was on the 3rd floor and we were struggling with the 4 suitcases as there was no elevator/lift. It is totally uncomfortable. To be honest, we felt as if we were ripped off. I am wondering if Team Booking.Com have ever sent your people to audit the property before posting it on your website?

Great value for money
Really affordable and in a great location near the main train station. Not the most luxurious room but great for cooking simple meals if on a budget. Kitchen facilities worked fine.
Would have been nice to have towels to dry dishes and potentially some body soap for the bathroom.

I am so upset, disappointed, frustrated with this listed property.
Nothing at all because the address was an abandoned building. They charged by credit ling before the deadline to cancel. NO signage of the property’s name. No nothing. Please take this property out of your list. I felt we were scammed. So frustrated and disappointed. I had no choice but to find another accommodation for my family. Good thing Novotel at Techno Park had an available room for us. Your records will show that I did book with Novotel. Inspire of this sad experience I will stick with Booking.com. Kindly help me be reimbursed of my payment. By the way, we took pictures of the address and surrounding areas for your info. I will email them to you soonest.

A Complete Scam – Avoid This Property at All Costs
We had a terrible experience with this property and feel obligated to warn others.
We paid CHF 532 for 2 nights and were informed just 2 hours before arrival that our original apartment had a “technical issue.” The host claimed we were being “upgraded” to a more modern unit at no cost. In reality, this was a bait-and-switch. Honestly, we doubt the original apartment even exists—this is a coordinated scam.
The unit we were moved to was in horrible condition: dirty, unsafe, and in a building under construction. Most shockingly, we found a used condom in the drawer next to the bedsheets —clear proof of the unacceptable hygiene standards. We could not stay there and were forced to book a different place last-minute, adding stress and cost.
Despite calling Booking.com six times, they provided no support or alternative accommodation. Their customer service was slow, dismissive, and ineffective. If something goes wrong, you are completely on your own.
Booking.com should immediately delist this host and investigate the scam. Until then, we strongly advise staying away from this listing.

Extremely Disappointed – Misleading Listing, Poor Conditions, and No Comfort
Didn’t like anything truthfully!
Our experience at this apartment was incredibly disappointing from the moment we arrived. The cleanliness was absolutely unacceptable the place was dusty, dirty, and clearly not cleaned properly for a long time. Under the bed looked like it hadn’t been touched in weeks. The walls were stained, the tiles were broken, and the floors were sticky throughout. The bathroom was in poor condition nowhere near what you’d expect from a place offering short-term stays.
The apartment was also unbearably hot and stuffy. I understand there’s no air-conditioning, but when it’s 33°C outside, providing fans should be the bare minimum to ensure your guests can sleep. We kept the windows wide open, and it didn’t help. I texted about this earlier, and no solution was offered. Worse yet, with the windows open, the noise from nearby restaurants and their ventilation systems made it almost impossible to sleep.
The Wi-Fi was completely inadequate. It’s just a small portable modem, and it barely supported one phone. There were only two of us, using just one phone each, no laptops or streaming — and it still didn’t work. I messaged you about this as well, and again, no response or help.
There are serious maintenance and safety issues too. The light is just hanging from a loose cable, and there are exposed wires sticking out of the ceiling. I don’t know about standards in Switzerland, but where I come from (Canada), this would not be considered safe at all. There was also no safe or safety deposit box, which is a basic expectation for any short-term rental.
Even small details reflect the overall neglect like a crushed, reused plastic soap dispenser that clearly had been used by previous guests. It’s a small thing, but it shows how little effort is made to provide a clean and comfortable stay.
In short, this apartment does not match the listing, and I would absolutely not recommend it. There is a lot of room for improvement, and until then, I would strongly suggest others look elsewhere

Utolsó előtti naptól rendszeresen érkeztek “ kindly reminder “ hogy másnapon reggel 10-ig el kell hagyni a szállást. Mintha félne hogy nem megyek. Reggel amikor elutaztam is kaptam 2 üzenet, hogy ne felejtsem, hogy 10-ig kell hagynom a lakást.

Der Topf und die Pfanne die vor Ort sind waren nicht sonderlich sauber.
Keine Geschitrtücher vor Ort.
Bett quietscht bei jeder Bewegung, man hat das Gefühl, dass es auseinander fällt.
Wenige Möbel um private Gegenstände abzustellen v.a. im Bad.
Im Verhältnis füllt der Tisch dafür beinahe den ganzen Raum.

Appartamento pratico per raggiungere il centro e pulito
Ritengo che molte delle recensioni negative siano ingenerose. E' chiaro, non si può aspettare una reggia, ma l'alloggio era pulito, ben equipaggiato e centrale. Prezzi che sono anche al di sotto della media di Zurigo. La chiave si recupera da una cassettina con un codice agganciata alla ringhiera, quindi ottima per un self-check in facile. Nelle vicinanze ci sono supermercati, ristoranti, ufficio cambio e stazione ferroviaria.
Il letto non era comodissimo, una delle daghe era rotta, ma la cosa più scomoda erano i cuscini, piccoli e incosistenti. Suggerirei almeno di cambiare quelli

Dreckiges Appartment und ein Host den es nicht interessiert
Lage ist top, Schlüsselübergabe war einfach, sonst gibt es nicht besonders viel positives.
Leider habe ich ein dreckiges Appartement angefunden. In der Toilette waren noch die Hinterlassenschaften des grossen Geschäfts meines Vorgängers und jemand hat im Zimmer geraucht. Ich musste den halben Abend lüften bei Temperaturen um den Gefrierpunkt.
Der Kontakt mit dem Besitzer war sehr enttäuschend. Zuerst kam eine Antwort, man würde dem nachgehen und ich sollte Bilder schicken. Aber das war es dann, ab dann wurde ich geghostet. Es kamen aber weiterhin automatisierte Standardnachrichten im Sinne von "Ich hoffe ihr Aufenthalt gefällt ihnen". Es gab auch kein Entgegenkommen in irgendeiner Weise. Zahlt lieber 20 CHF mehr und sucht euch ein anderes Appartement.

La stanza puzzava di fumo, il letto era rotto, le pentole sporche, tutto sporco di polvere. La stanza doveva essere per tre persone e hanno fornito un cuscino e due coperte leggere non adatte al clima di Zurigo.

Me gustó que disponía de todas las instalaciones necesarias para convivir en ella unas dos noches.
La cama y el “colchón” el cual se veía de muy mala calidad y delgado para ser dejado en el suelo, lo encontré muy desatinado, así como que la cama dispone de un cubrecamas tan pequeño que no tapa ni a una persona, las noches son frías y dormir abrigado con tan poco, resultó una experiencia desagradable.

При бронировании показывало одну цену, а сняло со счета намного больше. В апартаментах убитая мебель, полотенца и простыни в пятнах, в душевом поддоне грязно. За ту сумму, которую у меня сняло со счета можно было снять номер в лучшем месте ещё и с завтраком.

Appartment hat uns nicht gefallen.
Wir waren im zweiten Appartment untergebracht. Extrem einfache Austattung. Durchgelegene Matraze, quietschendes Bett und ein mindestens 30 jähriger Renovierungstau im Badezimmer. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis passt überhaupt nicht. Unser Vorteil war, dass wir am späten Abend angereist sind und dann am frühen Morgen mit der Bahn gleich weiter gefahren sind. Nach dem Motto: Augen zu und durch.
