Dirty and noisey, I got alternate accommodation

Very tough, had to walk across to another building. It didnt feel safe

Place was dirty, the key for the balcony door was missing and unlock so it was unsafe, bathroom.wasnt cleaned, geyser didnt work, iron was missing, couch was dirty carpet had cigarette burns. I booked alternate accomadation on airbnb as Sussex didnt want to refund and I couldn't stay there. I sent all pics to Sussex, they promised a deep clean that didnt happen, Pics on Booking.com are misleading.

The worst customer service i have ever received in my life

Nothing the staff is no where to be found, the concierge is never at the lobby amd the process of checking in took me Atleast 2 hours, you have to go to 3 separate buildings just to check in and the concierge doesn't eveb want to help but instead just gives you a answer for you to figure out

The place itself wasnt clean and we found ramdom old cigarettes on the bed, sofa and kitchen cabinets, the noise is unbearable, the bed belongs in a trash facility and even after you have accepted all those things you have terrible customer service especially from the lady at tinsallows or whatever that building is bare in mind i booked for sussex yet i had to go to all 3 buildings my self.

Don't believe the pictures

Do not believe the pictures. The location is in a dodgy part of Woodstock. The facilities are not clean and the rooms are also not well kept. Dirty couch, dirty windows, and the bathroom smelled damp. The room was very hot with no aircon or fan and opening the windows you hear the unsavory street characters. The staff talk at full volume in the hallways which can be clearly heard in the room. Do not stay here unless you are extremely desperate. And even then I would not recommend.

Never ever book this place

I hated every minute there False advertising I cannot believe you have this as "LUXURY STUDIO APARTMENTS" on your site when it is far from that.

The gate access didnt work. When you phone for gate access Line busy. I waited for 1h20 min to get back in after going to shops. Someone coming out from their room opened for me. No toilet paper for 2 days Water didnt work in 1 of the 2 apartments we booked. So we booked out early as we just could not take it anymore Honestly the worst experience of my whole year As i have been booking the whole of last year with booking.com and had THE best experiences all year Only to end my year with this crap. Im so so so dissapointed.

They made me pay deposits and said I won't enter to the room without paying deposit. This information is not on the site because i specifically avoided places that have this deposit thing and chose Sussex Mews coz there is nothing written about deposits on thier site, they made me collect the room keys at another hotel which charges the deposit. I booked Sussex not the hotel that charges deposit. Why do they hide that they have deposits to be paid. If I did not have the deposit money I would have slept outside that's The what they said. room and windows are full of dust.

The gate operation was bad made it unsafe for me, I couldn’t open the gate and I was ignored on calls and texts

It was clean and the big windows that allowed the natural light into the room

The gate operation was so bad, there’s a number a guest has to call to open the gate, mine didn’t work the 1st night and I struggle to enter the apartments and it was in the evening around 9 and the stuff assisting didn’t pick up their phone or reply to my texts. It was fixed the following day and the day after that it couldn’t open again, it was so unsafe to stand outside trying to open the gate😭

A huge dissapointedment

The doorman ( 14h00 to 02h00) was friendly and helpful

The adminastrative staff ( City Club) was very unfriendly . Did not help at all with the e-check in process. Of the 5 days there were 4 days without hot water. The place was very dirty. For a self catering unit it had very little appliances. The stove was so dirty i never could use it. In the common area every one was smoking weed. Very dodgy place.

The entrance is a bit off.. but once u go inside, it's ohk... u can smell food from the other room... the place was not 100%clean.. it was about 60% clean... the windows were dirty... the towels were not so clean also...

Location was bad but more than that...check-in is horrible!...and entry without a key even worse. The whole making a phone call inorder for the building door to open is just dangerous. Imagine if my phone is dead, lost or stolen...does that mean i must also be stuck outside!...very bad idea to use phone to access the property. The apartment is also not nearly as good looking or clean as the pictures. Then the neighbors were loud hanging in the corridor the whole night!-unbelievable...on-top of that...-no security at the front.

I loved my stay I do not regret it

The supervisor was really accommodating and friendly and the cleaner was also so friendly and very kind then the security guy was super amazing a very good man.

The customer care wasn't so good, and the room was too cold thanks to the security guy that provided me with a manual heater

Firstly we arrived there i struggled getting in, called the person on whats app but no response. It took almost 10 minutes for a response while waiting outside in the cold. Then the parking is a nightmare as your car has to stand outside, eventually when we got into the apartment there was a funny smell and the tv did not work.

The Television did not work The couch had a cover buy it was stained. The mat on the floor looked dirty with cig burns The towels were clean but very old and faded. Two single beds for a couple is not a plan I tried to report my grievances to the hotel but my calls were not answered. 1 tiny piece of soap in bathroom and the shower door came off the railing

Parking was a nightmare. If i wasnt driving a bakkie i wouldnt have been able to drive over kerb to park. WIFI NOT WORKING. Poor response on whatsapp from agent. And duvet cover to small

Not the best!

A lot of work needs to be done in the apartment as shower door is broken ,toilet paper holder, Couch need to be replaced and Wi-Fi is very bad couldn’t use the tv.Checking was promptly at 15:00 arrived just after 15:00 and the cleaner was still busy cleaning the apartment.Also the place was full of flies because the alley at the bottom was covered with black bags of dirt.Place also smell very dead and enclosed which is not pleasant at all.The area that the apartment is in also needs Safe parking not off street or in the alley.

Really bad management

The staff was very helpful security help at the best of their ability

At arrival my TV didn't work my room light's wasn't fitted with globes no internet Friday we had no electricity cause of no units eventually after 2 hours they brought the units then later the night no water we couldn't shower we couldn't use the toilet cause it was unhealthy
