A hidden little gem

Tucked away down a little alley it was close enough to walk to the main road but quiet enough to be peaceful and serene. The rooms are both large with comfortable beds. The pool was nice to use and the gardens were lovely to relax in. The Why Not bar and restaurant was great, quirky with live music and a good selection of food on offer.

Not really an issue to us but some people may find it difficult that cars cannot access the property directly. It does mean less traffic noise though!

Lovely big villa

Big villa with big bedrooms and a big balcony. The pool was clean and a good size. The beds were very comfortable and the air con worked well! In a great area with lots of restaurants and massage places.

The path to the villas can be slippy when wet so be mindful of that. Also lots of animals noises through the night can be heard like toads and ants will come in if you leave any food out.

The location and villa itself is good. Some improvement can make it even better.

Quiet villa in a good location close to central Ubud. We have our own 2 floor villa building. The hosts cleans the courtyard everyday. There is an outdoor pool although it is shared by two villas.

It will be nice to have some extra amenities like seperated shampoo/conditioner in bathroom, microwave and boiling kettle in the kitchen. There is also no indoor chair or table to sit together.

Worth the price

The location was good, near the ubud centre but also far enough for some peace and quiet. The managers there were friendly and nice. Also the place is quite spacious and only sharing the swimming pool with two other villas. There are Marts and pharmacies close by for essentials!

The road to the property is a bit difficult and can struggle to bring suitcases. One of the bathroom toilet was also broken and kept leaking. The bathrooms and kitchen weren’t the cleanest and there were lots of insects around but it’s a village so you can expect that.

A nice, secluded stay.

Very clean and tidy. Staff very friendly. In a secluded area so very little noise from traffic.

The entrance to the villa is a tad inconvenient. A car can only reach so far before having to walk. This pathway quickly floods when it rains, so be prepared for that.

Spacious Quiet Retreat

Super clean, spacious. It was like having your own house. Secluded from the hustle and bustle of the touristy street nearby. Ubud is super busy and dirty and this was a nice retreat from that. It's a little hard to find and you have to walk down this long path to get there. Not an issue for me. The 2 caretaker guys were more than happy to help with your bags, but we had already gotten there. Such a good value and location was great for being close to restaurants. Would come back again.

The caretakers don't speak a lot of English, so not ideal for getting ideas on things to do, but there are plenty of tour companies in the street. We ended up finding an English speaking driver who showed us around.

Convenient and Comfortable

The location is just nice. Near Ubud centre but still isolated from all the central Havoc. Convenient store, restaurant, massage and spa place is super close to property.

Mostly I love it. Maybe the access to the property is deeper into smaller lane thus car cannot access in front of the property. Need to walk a bit but that is not a problem to me at all. Maybe people with stroller or wheel chair may be challenging.

Cheap and cheerful stay in quiet villa

This villa is in a great spot, very close to the action with lots of restaurants on the nearby street, but tucked away and quiet. We had the pool all to ourselves for our stay and it was definitely needed in the hot Ubud weather. The beds are really comfy and the staff are super lovely - thank you Lopa and team!

In Ubud it can’t really be avoided that some insects enter the house. So be prepared, but we didn’t mind it at all

Great location friendly service.

I was really impressed such a great location restaurants and shopping minutes away great value for money I had 3 kids with me and they loved it. Great service they were very friendly. There is a restaurant up the road called sag beautiful breakfast and nicks pension is also great for dinner.

Great villa for a good price.

The villa itself was spacious, clean and comfortable. It had a good view from the second-floor balcony. The water pressure was good, and we had a pleasant stay.

The caretaker was slow at responding and did not change the water when we asked it to be changed. It was also hard to take our luggage from the drop off point to the villa as its such a small alley, the caretaker said they were gonna help us but only met us at the villa.

Great hosts, great location 5 stars

Can't beat this location in Ubud, just off main road and one street over from Jl Monkey Forest. Villa is balinese style with beautiful pool, hosts clean everyday and have great attention to detail. Also very friendly and will assist if there is anything you need. You need to carry/roll your bag down an alley way but this is common on Jl Bisma. Lots of great restaurants on Bisma, all you need is on this street.

The property was private and quiet. The swimming pool was delightful and used regularly by us. The staff were friendly and helpful and we were close to all facilities.

Not having a table and chairs downstairs to be able to sit to eat was somewhat problematic.

Brilliant! A great place to stay in the heart of Ubud

It was quiet and away from the noisy Ubud centre which is just a short walk away. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Staff were great. Nice swimming pool that is shared with only one other room.

There was about a 100m walk to the property down an alley that you couldn't drive down. Something to bear in mind if you have lots of luggage. No meals on offer.

Awesome little villa that offers everything needed for a comfortable stay.

Why not villa was perfect for our family of 4. The villa was in a lovely green setting and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay! The staff were very welcoming on arrival and offered many trips and services that make your stay easy to navigate. The WiFi was strong all over the property and by the pool. The villa was clean and thoughtful towards a family. We would definitely stay here again.

What we didn't like was that despite the open style windows in the kitchen / bathroom there was no window mesh, and no mosquito nets over the beds either. This meant lots of mosquitos inside. Went to bed fully clothed but still got bitten. Even a bird got into villa when windows and doors all 'closed' and it poo'd everywhere.

Ace!

The location is amazing. So private and peaceful yet right in the middle of ubud. The owner is super lovely. Why not bar is owned by the same couple, literally just around the corner. I’ve been there since they first opened. Fantastic live music and one of the best happy hours I’ve found in ubud. Will definitely be back

La limpieza del alojamiento fue excelente y el trato recibido por parte del personal, en general, correcto y amable.

No obstante, durante la estancia viví una situación muy incómoda que empañó completamente la experiencia. En una de las ocasiones noté que faltaba dinero que guardaba en mi mochila. En un primer momento preferí no desconfiar y pensé que podía tratarse de un error mío, por lo que volví a contarlo y lo memoricé. El último día de la estancia comprobé que nuevamente faltaba una cantidad importante de dinero. Informé al gerente, ya que se trata de una situación muy delicada y desagradable, y no es algo que me resulte fácil comunicar. Posteriormente, cuando ya me encontraba de viaje, se me indicó que había aparecido parte del dinero detrás de un mueble, algo que no se corresponde con la realidad. Por todo ello, y a pesar de los aspectos positivos mencionados, mi valoración final de la estancia no es satisfactoria.

Una Villa idílica para un viaje maravilloso

Una Villa para nosotros solos!! Hemos estado dos días allí a nuestro aire. Villa de dos pisos completamente equipado, con nevera, aire acondicionado, nevera, piscina, todo en perfectas condiciones. El personal encantador, nos recibieron amistosamente y nos dejaron a nuestro aire, con toda la paz que andábamos buscando. Si hay algo que destacar hay algunas hormigas que al final entran en la habitación, pero considerando el destino es de lo más normal y fácil de manejar. Gracias por todo!!!

配置非常完备的一个小别墅，楼上楼下有两张床，各自配备一个卫生间，可以住4个人，适合一家人出行，厨房可以做饭还有泳池。装修蛮有ins感的，非常干净。员工讲解地非常到位，把屋里屋外都仔细地介绍了一下，退房的时候晚了一点也帮我们协调了，可惜只待了一晚上。不过位置稍微没那么方便，停车后需要走小路巷子进去。晚上的话还是有点点吓人。

Nos dejó sin palabras… la amabilidad en persona. Nos trató de forma excelente, aunque no indicamos que nos limpiaran la villa lo hacía a diario y se ofreció a ayudarnos en cualquier cosa. Ubicación muy céntrica y al mismo tiempo tranquila. Anfitrión de 10

Centrale è molto rilassante

La posizione è ottima perché si trova in una strada vivace ma non super affollata. Vicino ci sono dei piccoli supermercati, tanti ristoranti e il Why not bar in cui tutte le sere suonano musica dal vivo. I proprietari sono davvero gentili e la casa è molto confortevole e davvero bella. C’è anche un giardino con le sdraio e la piscina per rilassarsi dopo le escursioni!

Non era dotato di asciugacapelli ma effettivamente non avevo letto bene io nella descrizione e non era elencato tra le cose in dotazione.

Lugar recomendable para tus vacaciones en Ubud

He ido 3 veces a Ubud, y sin duda este es el alojamiento que más me ha gustado de todos. El mayor punto a favor es que está muy céntrico y al mismo tiempo apartado de todo el ruido del tráfico y gente. Puedes ir caminando a todos los puntos de interés, Palacio de Ubud, Water Palace, Mercado de Ubud...etc... Con cientos de cafeterías, restaurantes, centros de masaje, tiendas ...etc, sin necesidad de coger el coche ni la moto para nada. Volveré!!!

Por decir algo, le falta un poco de mantenimiento en los baños y es por eso por lo que no le pongo el 10. Entiendo que hay mucha humedad, pero no estaría mal limpiar un poco más a fondo las paredes de las duchas, porque hay moho acumulado y es bastante desagradable. Tampoco vendría mal cambiar las tapas de los WC ya que están bastante amarillentas y desgastadas. Por lo demás, es un alojamiento sencillo y sin grandes lujos, pero por el precio que tiene es excelente. Gracias.

Ce fut un séjour très agréable et l’accueil a été excellent. Villa superbe, nous recommandons.

L’accueil de Lopa qui s’est occupé de nous a été très chaleureux. Il était au petit soin avec nous. L’emplacement de la villa est idéal car près du marché, de la forêt des singes ou encore de bons restaurants et autres commodités. La villa était magnifique.

Le fait qu’il manque un lavabo dans la salle de bain du rez de chaussée.
