The rooms were lovely, spacious and comfortable. Shower over big bath. Good aircon. Quiet and relaxing. Staff were very friendly. It’s a small hotel. Was only about a 10 minute walk to Main Street. There are restaurants and a mini mart close on the way to the Ubud main street.
We enjoyed our stay.
Breakfast wasn’t a buffet, but ordered the day before, which would be perfectly adequate but it was always served cold. If it were put into heated plates and covered to keep it warm it would be so much more enjoyable. Tea and coffee facilities in room but no milk provided, some small UHT milk containers would be terrific.

We had the most wonderful stay at Capung Cottages. The grounds were beautiful, it was peaceful, well looked after, the rooms are a really good size and the breakfast was delicious. It was lovely to have breakfast on our terrace each morning and you are able to choose what time you would like your breakfast to be served. The staff are incredibly hospitable and so kind! They really do go above and beyond to make you feel welcome.

Breakfast was good, hosts were really good. Beautiful area, lots of nature around. Staff were again, really good, really helpful and absolutely lovely.
Unfortunately the laneway was super narrow and the bathroom upstairs had a constant smell of raw sewerage. Was a bit too far to walk to the markets, was really close to a good spa, marts and some food places.
