I was here for one month by myself and loved it. It was safe and was located near the action in Bali. I walked everywhere such as the market and stores there were very close. When I first got there, they had beautiful calming music turned on on the TV. They came out and helped get my luggage since there is no parking for a car. There was an alley out back that does have cars parked and scooters. The staff became my friend and did special things for me like making animals out of the towels after cleaning my room. The staff cared about me and would help me out when I needed it. The owner was updating one of the rooms while I was there. They have a beautiful garden and a place outside to sit. I loved the location and loved that I was able to walk to many places I wanted to see.

It was enjoyable and comforting at the Puri Anyar Heritage. Definitely come back soon.

I stayed at Puri Anyar Heritage for 5 nights (1 night extended) to enjoy Nyepi. I would say the it perfectly fit my purpose doing solo traveling. The Heritage home offers everything you need from a decent house with affordable price to a really good one but still giving you the vibe of traditional and heritage. It's super quiet though right in the heart of Ubud busy area. Staff is also super nice and fun to hang out with. I drank Arak with the local guys there which was really fun.

I wish I couldve received more introduction about the whole house, but it checked in really late so it's understandable.

Location needing an upgrade

The hotel is beautifully located in the centre of Ubud, walking distance from shopping and cultural activities.

The rooms are old dated, blocked sink, dirty bathroom and we had no cleaning during our stay. Cheap accommodation but the experience on unclean and outdated makes it a sad experience in Ubud. More rhen 1 night i will not recommend

Nice but could be better

The outside of the building is beautiful and the location is perfect

Inside it’s old and it looked like it hadn’t been properly cleaned in a while. No one was there, we just picked up and left the keys, they were nice but disappeared instantly. Don’t expect anything fancy, we will just go to a hostel next time

Did not suit us

Beautiful surroundings, comfortable bed, and good shower. Having breakfast served on our veranda was a nice touch. Good air conditioning.

I am at an age where my knees are bad and when I saw the steep steps to get in from the street, I almost cried. Then came a second lot of steps. Although traditional and picturesque, they were a barrier to my enjoyment and I was reluctant to go out because of them. The TV did not work at all and the water went off on our second morning, although it came back on soon. We left one night early but I'm not sure the staff understood when I told them we were going.

Great location a 2 minute walk from the centre of Ubud. The property is well manicured and has a real Bali vibe about it. The room was spacious and the bed was most comfortable.. There was also plenty of hot water in the bsthroom. The staff always had their happy face on and were eager to please.

So this is just an observation not a complaint. The room was not serviced at all during the time i was there which i thought was odd. There was an electric jug in the room but not cups and no tea and coffee to go with it. I had the dearest geco family living in the roof just outside my front door. Each morning there was a splattering of geco pooh right where i walked into my room. Although my breakfast was delivered each morning to my room bslcony ...no one bothered to clean the geko pooh up. I just thought there needed to be a bit more atention to detail. I still enjoyed my stsy despite these small issues.

Fantastic location at the very center of it all. Amazingly beautiful bungalows (although that's not really unique, many others are comparable, hey it's Bali). Garden view room was quiet enough.

Zero cleaning, nor any service whatsoever in a 4 day stay, no clean towels or sheets, did not take out the trash, didn't even provide daily drinking water, which we had to buy in a store. WiFi sucked very bad. No TV in the room. No safe. At least had water boiler. Smallest queen size bed in Bali.

The location is near Raya Ubud. Easy to find some food or wine. The building have strong Bali culture.

There is no parking lot in the hotel area. My experience during stay in this hotel, the AC in our room turn off while we sleep, it's make us unconformtable

the location is very nice. close to everything,surrounded my lots of cafes and restaurants

the room is old and was pretty dirty,smelly. checked in at 2… there were still no towels and blankets,which were given only in the evening.

This historic hotel is the definition of an Indonesian home. It’s so beautiful and is located perfectly in the Center of Ubud. The staff were really kind and helpful. It was nice and clean, and we had a lovely stay.

located in a perfect place, it’s a simply almost home-like stay rather than a hotel, with cosy feeling and amazing architecture. place is well take care of and kept nice and clean. the vibe is unique.

the amenities are rather old. despite place is being kept clean and stuff very helpful, we experienced clogged bathroom in one of the rooms. overall it might be good to give a fresh touch to the rooms; but it’s still great value for the price.

Room was simple but that was all that was needed. Plenty of space for a couple. Location was amazing, right in the centre. surroundings of home stay were absolutely beautiful. staff very friendly too. Super recommend the coffee shop next door, Temu- our favourite so far. so many restaurants & cafe’s nearby.

Hot water in shower didn’t last too long but wasn’t too big of an issue.

Erwartungen übertroffen.

Man wird bestens betreut und das Servicepersonal ist echt auf Zack. Besonders angenehm fiel mir darunter ein junger Mann namens Mahdi (oder so ähnlich) auf, der mir meine frisch gewaschenen Hemden über Nacht perfekt gebügelt am Abreisemorgen überreichte.
