This is one of my favorite places to stay in Asia. I spent a month here in 2024, and came back for another month in 2026. (Someone else beat me to it in 2025!). The room has a beautiful view from the window and the balcony outside, a comfy bed, good wifi, and a shower with good water pressure and temperature. The couple running the homestay are lovely and kind, and their children are adorable. The property is just around the corner from good coffee (Seniman), and an easy walk to the rice fields in the morning, and at night you can hear the kecak dances from a nearby temple (or go to watch!). Basically, if this room is available, pounce!

Fantastic location near Ubud market. Great wifi and aircon. Incredible value for money. Nice view over the buildings. Room and bedding were clean. Good hot water shower in the open air bathroom. Guesthouse is only 2 rooms - you have to walk through the family compound to get up to the room. Family was lovely, very helpful, always available and immediately responsive to any requests.
The street below was a bit noisy as motorbikes were using the road to avoid the Main Street. No fridge or fan (only air con). The steps are steep and hard with a backpack. Bathroom needed a good scrub. Balcony was not private and was shared with the other room.

Very nice place in the heart of Ubud. A lot of restaurants, cafés and Ubud Palace nearby. Hosts very receptive and helpful.
Had a little inconvenience with some birds disturbing our peacefulness. But host solved the issue ASAP.
