Excellent value and location!

Great location a short walk from the main train / bus station with access to free public transportation to explore the city at your door. The shared kitchen is well appointed with a large fridge / freezer, microwave, kettle and stove / oven. The shared bathroom/ toilet was nice and clean and serves approximately 4 other rooms, however we never had to wait long to use the facilities.

Noise from other rooms can be a bit loud at times, but didn’t really bother us that much as we have stayed in similar hostel-style accommodation before.

disgraceful

the hosts ignored to our messages about the hot water, there was no hot water during our entire stay, then the house keeping confirmed that the hot water was indeed broken but was so rude and said it would not be fixed, absolutely appalling, this is a basic necessity, my partner was very ill and this made the experience terrible. Would never ever recommend this place.

1 night in Luxembourg

Convenient location close to Gare Centrale, nice and quiet, and good value for money.

The host was unresponsive on the day of arrival (I requested a big towel since they provided me 2 small towels) and mostly only communicated beforehand to repeatedly remind me about the mandatory registration form. Aside from the lack of responsiveness, the place itself was fine.

Give it a miss if you can afford abit more

The location was close to the train station. Price was one of the cheapest. The room is ok. Very basic. The flat is ok. Kitchen are and table. Toilet and bathroom was clean.

The neighbours constantly telling us that we shouldn't stay there as it is illegal to rent rooms out in luxemburg. They did not make us feel welcome at all. The door system was difficult to navigate and after being bombarded with requests to fill in our details before arrival it made finding the actual instructions on how to enter the place difficult. The guy in the next room was shouting on his phone until 2am and when told to be quiet he just ignored us. Worst nights stay in our 10 days travelling.

Overall a good stay for a one night base

Price

Bo curtain or blind in the room. Had to move a clothing rail with towels and coarta draped over for some privacy. I may have not read in detail, but didn’t realise we were sharing with 3 other rooms. One toilet for four rooms and one kitchen and one bathroom (no toilet).

The room is central, only 15’min from the centre. The check in was really easy!

The bed sheets were not very clean. I’m quite sure they had been washed, but there were still some blood stains on them. Regarding the toilet, I don’t think it was clearly specified, but there is only one toilet for four rooms, which is not ideal. Considering that, the property could cost a little less.

Apartament was clean, close to the tram and bus station, great price

Unfortunately there was a situation were we were informed that our room number was 2 and the key should be in door. There was no key to our room and the door was locked. We contacted personel and we just changed a room where key was in a lock. The answers were very quick but we still lost about 40 minutes:(

lack of hygiene

The bed linens were definitely from previous guests; they were very smelly and couldn't be changed. The people staying in the other rooms didn't respect the schedule, talking loudly in the rooms at 1 a.m. and another person on the phone in the hallway. It was almost impossible to sleep.

Simple budget option in Luxembourg

In a very expensive city, this simple and basic accommodation is great for someone wanting to pay less. The room is very simple, almost sparse, but it was all that is needed for a night away, all the furniture is in good condition, it is clean. There are shared kitchen facilities, including a microwave, and a space to eat.

The room could do with a mirror - otherwise everyone has to go to the shared bathroom even to brush your hair. Also, the check-in arrival process was far more difficult than it needed to be - you are sent a link to open the front door from the street and the front door to the apartment. You can use the free city wifi on the street but you don't get the wifi code for inside until you get inside the apartment - but if you have no data, you can't get inside the apartment without the wifi. It worked in the end but would be much simpler if the owners sent the wifi code with the (long) instructions for getting in.

Good basic option

Room was basic but clean and light and the bed was comfortable.

The blinds didn’t work properly but I worked out a trick to close them and I made sure I closed them before dark so that the noise didn’t disturb fellow flat dwellers when I came back late. Road works directly outside were a nightmare but they will probably have been done by now - really impacted my stay but means it’ll be fine by the time anyone else stays!

Very modest flat, only the essentials but suitable for short stay. Easy digital check in. Clean and spacious room. There's a kitchenette and shared bathrooms.

Not cozy or soundproof, don't wait for any amenities. No staff (but a phonenumber given for emergencies).

Good affordable stay in Luxembourg

It is a very basic place with IKEA furniture and no decoration but if you think about hotel prices in Luxembourg, it is amazing! It is very close to the train station and walking distance from all major attractions. Very easy checking and communication with the staff. The place is basic but very clean. Shared kitchen has basic appliances and coffee/tea making accessories. There is plenty of cafes and boulangeries around for a nice breakfast, even a specialty coffee place (Bloom - recommended!).

It would be better to have bigger mugs in the kitchen but apart from that, everything was good.

It was excellent. Great location, just 5-6 minutes of walk to reach center gare. Great choices on nearby for restaurants

Easy check-in, no need to meet anyone to get key or entrance to the room. Easy navigation to the room. Location is also good at the center of gare, but just the problem for us was outside environment when we were walking on the streets, some strangers looked at us strangely and they were drunk and chilling. Rest, our stay at this property was all good.

Not about the property itself, but the other people and the outside neighbourhood looks kinda rough. We were scared a bit to see their gaze on us.

A nice stay

Clear instructions make it easy to check-in and check-out, cleanliness, prompt reply from staff, close to the main station so we could walk. Public transport is free in Louxembourg so it´s nice to have a city tour by bus. Many shops especially asian food shops nearby.

It seems not a safe area at night. We walked from the main station towards the building around 20h30, it was not dark yet but we saw two men asking and giving something (not seem legal) to each other in a corner of a street, there were other men standing alone on the streets smoking (like waiting for something/customers!?). The air had the smell of smoke/drugs. My kid and I were a bit scared and we tried to run as fast as we could. During the day, this area was busy and much safer so my recommendation for family staying here is to not stay late at night in the streets.

Very blah. The hotel ruined my night after returning from beautiful central Luxembourg.

The room was ok. Not much to it.

My room had a window to a dirty courtyard. The room below had a balcony, with a bunch of Eastern European women, who were yelling and bickering all day long. Immediately outside of the hotel on a street corner, there were 15 central African immigrants fighting, yelling, jumping on parked cars, smashing beer bottles, menacing. Horrid, disgusting and unsafe. Whorehouses and criminality all around the hotel.

Die Lage, die Ruhe, der kostenlose Kaffee, die Einfachheit des Zugangs sofern man mit dem Smartphone zurecht kommt. Der Preis. Gutes Preis Leistungsverhältnis für Luxemburg Stadt zentral.

Das Bad war über eine Stunde besetzt. Wir haben dann nicht länger gewartet und sind ungeduscht losgegangen. Vielleicht eine Notiz aufhängen für Rücksichtnahme und etwas mehr Tempo im Bad.

Fijne ligging maar dat was het dan ook wel...

De locatie was fijn, het was vlakbij het station waar we aankwamen. Vanuit daar konden we ons makkelijk met het openbaar vervoer verplaatsen

Het inchecken, de kamer, het bed en de rookmelder. De kamer was erg smal en het bed ook. Daarnaast lag het bed niet lekker. Het was zacht matras en het kussen was ook niet fijn, we hebben last van onze nek gekregen. Bij het inchecken stonden we een tijd voor een dichte deur omdat we geen link hadden gekregen om de deur te openen. Er was geen personeel aanwezig of die we konden bellen en er werd na een kwartier geantwoord op het bericht. Tijdens onze laatste nacht hadden we veel last van de rookmelder die een harde piep maakte omdat de batterijen bijna op waren. We hebben die rookmelder toen uitgezet tot we gingen uitchecken.
