Nice but noisy

Steep stairs, noisy due to heavy traffic, bathroom always cold, needs washer dryer instead of washing machine only and a fridge/ freezer

Bathroom sink was backed up so water was slow to go down but wasn't much of a problem..we adapted

Great location, really comfortable bed, good sixmzed kitchen and adequate bathroom.

The location was great. Loads of services on the door step. In terms of bars, cafes, restaurants and grocery stores. Then only 10mins walk to the Opera House. The bed was really comfortable and the bed linen lovely. The bath deep with loads of hot water. A good sized one bed apartment with all you need.

We would have preferred a sofa and then 2 separate dining chairs for the table compared to the dual use combined lounge dining unit provided. I think we would have found it more comfortable and practical.

I would stay there again if it wasn’t for the difficult front door lock. I wouldn’t plan to cook anything whilst staying

A beautifully furnished flat, close to the town and local facilities.

The electronic lock on the front door wouldn’t work which was frustrating. although the apartment as a whole was well equipped, the kitchen was very poor. There was a bare minimum of crockery and cutlery and there were no saucepan lids, making it impossible to drain anything. You cooked. There was no colander either and the frying pan had lost its non stick coating. The only glass dish suitable for the microwave was too big to fit in it. I also had a problem with the plug in the bath, which refused to come out. This left cold water in the bath so I was unable to shower. I did report it and they phoned me but I had left before they came to fix it.

A convenient and comfortable place in the heart of Buxton

We liked the location and convenience. Was good to be able to park there. The bed was extremely comfortable. A nice airy space. Also great to have a bath as well as a shower

It wasn’t clear from the photos which apartment we were getting. We had Cavendish, which was fine but from the photos we thought we were getting Goyt. I think this could be made clearer when booking. There could be more glasses. In total there were only three glasses in the apartment. The fridge was just a larder fridge so no icebox

The location was great and hot tub was a nice touch. Very comfy bed and well equiped kitchen

The only critic i did have was the seating area . The padded cushions would of been better going all the way along and more secure as a few times the top moved.

Fairly good apartment, but over priced.

The location in Buxton was good. A short walk to the centre. The bed was really comfortable. The kitchen was nice.

It was on a really really busy road and the noise was awful. The traffic never stopped and the windows , even though tightly shut, did not keep the noise out. There was no sofa and the small bench in the dining/living area was uncomfortable. There was also a damp smell in the bathroom.

Disappointing

Location

While unforeseen issues can arise during any stay, what truly defines the experience is how the host responds afterward. Unfortunately, despite multiple attempts to reach out regarding a refund for an accommodation issue, we have yet to receive any response. The issue—a severe and persistent odour from the drains—made the environment uncomfortable, leading us to cut our stay short and secure alternative lodging. The housekeeper who visited even acknowledged the severity of the smell, confirming it wasn’t just our perception. We had hoped for a resolution, but the complete lack of communication has been incredibly disappointing. If prompt and considerate customer service is important to you, I would advise future guests to be cautious before booking.

Modern, comfortable stay local to all amenities for a lively weekend away!

Exceptionally clean, modern and comfortable. Ideal location, parking available on street as didn’t get to book one of the three spaces outside the house but only parked a minute away on the road so it was fine! Fresh flowers in living room were a welcoming touch along with all the tea/coffee we needed! Very comfortable bed and pleasing furnishings throughout.

We had a problem with the door not locking but someone came first thing in the morning and really quickly fixed it and all was fine again, we just had to put something up against the door overnight but the main front door was locked so not massively an issue. The hot water wasn’t very hot at all, which was a shame as the bathroom is really modern and pleasant but the shower was too cold. No instructions left for heating/water/no WiFi as nothing left out for visitors. We were only having a short stay and planned to be out most of the time so we didn’t attempt to contact the agency again as had to get hold of them for the door so not a negative, just would have been helpful for some instructions or welcome notes available.

Good location, close to town. Good communication from the hosts.

Disappointed with the 'lounge area'. Not very comfy or relaxing. Apartment on a very busy main road, a lot of traffic noise at night.
