Clean well equiped accommodation. Difficult to find house as it was along a narrow bumpy track.
Accommodation had a well equiped kitchen, washer/dryer etc. No stairs to climb.
Difficult to find the accommodation as it was located in the hills with no proper address. Access to it was a bumpy very narrow track, would be difficult in the winter. Lighting in the house was not adequate. High step to get in and out of bath to use shower; would be difficult for people who were not so mobile.

Tranquil experience at the heart of nature
Amazing stay at the Lodge - we loved the spacious living room with fully equipped kitchen. Space was empeccable clean! The Lodge welcomed us with fresh flowers, ginger biscuits and tea. Our highlight was the most amazing and comfortable sofa and stash of books that you could spend hours reading! Highly recommend if you are looking for a zen experience away from the city.
The only downside to this place is the unstable wifi connections. We were working virtually during our week stay and found it a bit unstable and slow especially for video calls. Internet is typically stronger during the day.

A beautiful base for Peak district hiking.
Very well equipped, clean and modern furniture and fittings. Great shower. Excellent location for hiking from your doorstep and great access by car to the Peak District. Much more welcoming and characterful than the photo suggests. Lovely to find tea, milk and biscuits awaiting us on arrival.
Bit difficult to work out how to turn heating on between set times. Stone floors beautiful but bit nippy for stockinged feet (we'll take slippers next time!). We appreciated the clarity of instructions for everything else.
