Explore the ruins of the Norman Motte and Bailey castle in the beautiful old county town of Montgomery, wander the Grade I listed formal gardens at the renowned Gregynog Hall, or visit the world-famous Powis Castle and Gardens, often frequented by Prince Charles. The medieval market towns of Shrewsbury and Ludlow offer renowned and award-winning restaurants, cosy pubs and quaint shops, as well as festivals and markets, including annual Christmas markets, whilst Ludlow also boasts over 600 listed buildings and Ludlow Castle, so there is something to enjoy all year round.
