Sweet little house in a great location on the canal, with everything we needed for a night away. Really close to New Mills where there are cafes and shops and nice walks. All very clean and well kitted out. Host was very friendly and easy to contact.

Really happy with our stay in Furness Vale.The communication and information from Andy was great.Short drive to most of the peaks and Buxton.The walk along the canal path to New Mills was very pleasant.The cottage was very homely and comfortable and a great place to head back to after a long day walking.Definitely stay there again.

We enjoyed our stay at the property. It was a bit difficult for us to find at first and took a few different tries to find it. We are from U.S. so that might explain it. If anyone is from U.S. and driving to this location be careful as the roads in this area are very narrow and many cars are parked on the road leading to several situations where the 2 lane road was really only a 1 lane road. Again, I'm sure UK drivers are used to this, but for us it was white knuckles all the way. The property is very clean and backed up against a beautiful canal with boats. I would stay here again, especially in the summer.

Marina View Cottage is a great place to stay! The unit is clean and well provisioned. The kitchen is really well equipped and the patio overlooking the canal and marina were a delight. Highly recommended. Andy, the host, was great at communicating.

We had a really good break. The property was perfect for us right near the canal towpath. The veranda overlooking the canal was a real bonus and we were fortunate enough to have a lovely sunny evening to enjoy it. Would recommend it.

We stayed here after returning to the country and Andrew the owner was really helpful. We had peaceful morning walks down the canal every day. The cottage is ideally located for walking and there’s lots to do locally. The cottage was warm and cosy. We really enjoyed our stay.

Lovely cosy cottage, I love the decor and how the curtains match the pillows & window seat. Easy check in and check out. Lovely hosts, quick replies and always there to answer questions. Great location for a canal walk. Hope to be back soon

First class property very well equipped in a tranquil setting..was concerned about the close proximity of rail track but never heard a thing... only issue was the mattress in bunk bed needs immediate renewal and double bed heading that way....other than that 10 out of 10....other hosts could learn from this lovely cottage

The property was immaculate- clean, tidy, modern and well equipped. Location was perfect for walks. The communication with the owner was great and everything went very smoothly. The only thing to be aware of is that the road leading to the property is very uneven with some large potholes.

Perfect little cottage. Amazing location on the canal and easy walking to some great little pubs. Master fryer chippy served us lovely fish and chips. Owner Andy was on the end of the phone and was happy to help with questions we had. Great communications and I would definitely recommend the cottage for a family and it has everything you'd need as a base in the area.

Great little cottage, very clean, lovely decor, warm and cosy. Everything you could need in the kitchen. It was just the break we needed. Beautiful canal out the back. So much to explore in the Peak District. Great communication with Andrew. Thank you.
