About this cottage rental
Introducing Suzy's Cottage, a recently renovated one bedroom cottage, in New Mills. This stunning and attractive stone building has been lovingly refurbished and renovated to a high standard. A perfect base for exploring the Peak District National Park and canal walks, whether you enjoy hiking or a short stroll around the many local natural beauty spots.
As you enter the property you step into an open plan lounge/kitchen. Stylish sofas are set in front of a gorgeous, exposed stone wall. A well-equipped kitchen boasts all modern appliances: oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, with a solid wooden breakfast bar to enjoy your morning coffee on.
A staircase leads up from the lounge into a spacious double en-suite bedroom. The lavish bathroom includes a walk-in shower and heated towel rail. The property enjoys central heating, Wi-Fi, flat screen television and DVD player.
After waking up from a restful night’s sleep you can explore the nearby New Mills Marina and pick up a couple of bottles of locally brewed beer from the Torrside Brewery. The town of New Mills has a fantastic feel about it with an excellent selection of independent shops, cafes, art galleries, pubs and award-winning eateries. Dating back to the 1850’s the cottage exudes character and charm and is a super location to choose as a holiday base.
A four legged friend is welcomed at this cottage for a small fee (however, please note there is no garden) and parking can be found on-road in the local area. This property is not suitable to accommodate young children.

I really enjoyed my stay the cottage was as described very clean it had everything you could require lovely little place nice quiet spot very cozy finest retreats is a very good host I would recommend a stay at this cottage I loved staying there communication was good with host cottage top notch I hope to stay there in the near future again check in and out was a breeze also thank you for my stay there .Michael atlanta ga

It may be worth speaking to the Neighbours. I appreciate that this is really out of your control, but the dogs were very noisy next door, and for long periods!! This may put people off re-booking!

Great place for a long weekend away. We made the most of local walks, as well as day trips on the train to Manchester and Buxton. A comfy sofa and well equipped kitchen made it and easy and convenient stay

After a recent family bereavement I wanted somewhere to escape to for a few nights. Suzy's Cottage was perfect. The cottage was comfortable, clean and on arrival there some little extra surprises, very thoughtful.
I had my dog with me and she also felt very at home.
I would highly recommend this property as a base, for long walks. The train link to Buxton was great, the station is only a two min walk. We did a great canal walk and hopped on the train back to New Mills.
