A great property, clean, welcoming, warm and well appointed and really reasonable. We are already planning another trip

It was absolutely perfect for what we wanted. Really clean, welcoming, warm and well-appointed and everything worked.

Only small thing were a few of the side lights didn’t work.

Very relaxed and free to come and go ,nice as bungalow on one level , perfect area , everything we needed except tin opener which wasn’t major lol most things have ring pulls these days Tv was fab for the men Heating was fab was lovely and snug with such cold weather and snow up woodhead ,didn’t use the garden Not far from the new inn WiFi fab and we didn’t see staff but put 😃because Deb was at hand to answer questions straight away and let us leave little later as no one followed us in very easy to accommodate us hopefully will stay again if free on dates we need

We didn’t dislike but a little updating would enhance it greatly and parking was quite tight with how neighbours had parked on their drive Didn’t live here so didn’t take it up with them to be polite

Ok for one night, but lacking in care and planning for visitors.

Useful location, off street parking, accessible, lovely patio area. Big screen tv and WiFi. Rapid boiler kettle. A big plus was being able to book for a single night.

No washing up or cleaning materials ( I can’t use bleach). Kitchen cupboards disorganised so hard to see what was available. Additional small table/coffee table would be helpful. Overall it didn’t feel very professional, as if it wasn’t really set up to be let. It didn’t feel cleaned and polished.

Exactly as described. Small but comfortable & clean bungalow in a very quiet and handy location for exploring the Peak District.

It was great having an enclosed garden for the dogs, although this aspect of the property was a perhaps little overgrown.

Great place for a stop over

Great location as a stop off travelling from Scotland to the South West. Very quiet, clean and homely.

The mattresses were a little uncomfortable. The blinds in the bedrooms did little to block out light at night. Parking on the driveway was tight (not helped by someone parking on the road directly opposite)

A good base for our cycling trip but the lack of curtains in the bedroom really ruined the stay.

There are no curtains in the bedroom. There are blinds but the room is very bright at night due to the street lights outside and then we were woken very early by the daylight. Would thoroughly put me off staying again.

It was perfect for our needs

It was clean and well appointed. The host contacted us after my sister-in-law left her purse and agreed to sent it on.

Parking was a bit tight but the neighbour who shared the drive was very helpful

We were comfortable and the location was good to meet for our hike.

It was a nice Bungalow and the beds were clean and comfortable.

There isn’t enough plug sockets in the bedrooms. There is no stool for the dressing table or anywhere near to plug in a hairdryer. The grill hadn’t been cleaned and there was a lot of old food left in the cupboards.

It was very comfortable, homely and well furnished and had everything you need. Lovely garden for the dogs and the lounge was a suntrap even with the snow. Easy to get to but peaceful setting. Lovely area and easy to get to lots of different places via the nearby motorway.

The only slight issue was the shower which worked fine but was low pressure.
