Highly recommend the property and location for easy access to the High Peak area.
It’s a perfect size for a couple and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It’s also very private and the little courtyard is a welcome bonus and useful for airing or drying walking gear.
The location is convenient to walk into town but does mean you can’t park directly outside but we knew this when booking. The close proximity to the pub will be a bonus for some but not for others. The karaoke stopped by about 10:30pm so overall wasn’t an issue despite some dodgy singers!

Glossop apartment
Julia was very helpful ahead of the visit over a few queries. Accommodation is easy to find and has added appeal of being just a 10 minute walk from Old Glossop and Manor Park . Very near the train station. Kitchen well equipped. Bed comfortable. Guest folder of information is very helpful!
Late night noise after hours from the pub very close by over the weekend ( hopefully less of a problem on week nights?) and from 24/7 petrol station opposite which also adds light pollution. A small freezer compartment inside the fridge would be good! Combination microwave has a manual available which is helpful but incomprehensible?

An incredibly relaxing and joyous experience.
Accessing the property was completed with considerable ease, and on entering the flat was greeted by a gorgeous aroma that was emanating throughout the whole apartment. A beautiful wooden staircase guilded with gold effect panelling was a wonder to behold, and the host had provided everything one would need for a comfortable stay. Some of the provisions even surpassed my expectations like cake and various foodstuffs to eat at ones own discretion, and in addition the presence of cooker, fridge, and a comfortable settee and chair was overwhelming. There was plenty space throughout the apartment, and the bed was incredible. The back garden was a joy to relax in on the bench which adjoins the kitchen-door, and the bathroom and shower was great-with plenty towels.
