We were unaware of this history behind The Willows when we booked. The property is well maintained, the rooms were spotless, the bed very comfortable and the staff amazing. It is nestled at the end of the street alongside the mountains. It is a quiet retreat for couples or honeymooners and we would most certainly recommend and return without hesitation. What I'd improve?: Our corner room was situated near the cleaning staff's washer/dryer, so their conversations were heard quite clearly in our room. There was no safe in our room. The ironing board was a mini table-top board, but no real table to place it on - I used the credenza underneath the TV which proved a bit tricky. The showerhead is a very large rain showerhead on the 9ft ceiling, so if you're looking to shower and not get your hair wet - it'll be tricky. While we understood this property to be adults only, there was a couple with a young child which proved to be a distraction - by which I mean that their room was directly on top of ours, so we heard running, stomping, jumping, etc.

Every night felt like sinking into a cloud, and the daily turndown service along with the consistent attention to our room made us feel genuinely cared for. Nothing was overlooked. What really sets The Willows apart is the feeling of privacy paired with a unique sense of connection. Despite its intimate setting, guests naturally interact with one another, creating a relaxed, welcoming social energy that feels organic and rare. The staff elevate the entire experience. Everyone is friendly, attentive, and sincerely welcoming. Stone, our food server, was exceptional—thoughtful, warm, and made every meal feel like a special occasion. Mia greeted us with such genuine kindness that we immediately felt at home. The location is perfectly central, making it easy to enjoy Palm Springs while still feeling tucked away in a peaceful oasis. Breathtaking views, exceptional hospitality, and pure relaxation — Palm Springs’ best-kept secret. Serene, romantic, and close to everything you could need. Hardest part of my trip was leaving.

This place is a hidden gem. Off the main drag, but walking distance to everywhere. Small but Fantastic grounds. The Einstein room was perfect. The Willows is on the upper end of the hotel price, but it is so worth it. When you figure in the included wine and hors d'oeuvres and then the included delicious breakfast, then your actual room cost isn't so high. Place is romantic for couples and probably not the best for kids (they would be bored). Room was well appointed and there are some welcome snacks in the room as well as in the mini fridge. The staff was excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend this boutique hotel to anyone.

We have stayed multiple times at The Willows and always enjoyed its exclusive feel, though it’s centrally located. The property is classic Palm Springs—very beautiful. The included breakfast is wonderful. We booked the Acanthus room, due to lack of availability for our dates. We were not at all happy with this small room. We moved the next night to the Rock Room, which we loved. We also love the happy hour with complimentary wine and appetizers. Special thanks to Stone, and Gordon, who made us feel so welcomed.

Out of the way hotel, very pleasant. It didn’t even feel like I was in a hotel, rooms don’t come with a number, you get a real key to enter. Staff was amazing and very friendly. It felt like a pleasant living experience more than a hotel. I recommend it for adults who want a different flavor in staying somewhere. Highly recommended.
