All digital check in was easy.

There was no soap In the bathroom or kitchen/nook area upon arrival. They said there was a white noise machine and ear plugs in the room for better sleep and no plugs were available and the noise machine didnt work.

Air conditioner was disturbingly loud (and I’m a heavy sleeper), the fact that there’s no front desk to service you is not helpful, the number on the front door of the hotel listed to assist was irresponsive.

Comfortable room but poolside needs an update! Location not great.

The staff at check in were very helpful and friendly. The room was really lovely and clean. Bed was comfortable.

The location of the hotel is right next to a main road, so sometimes the traffic was noisy. The road was also being re-surfaced so was really really noisy as they worked through the night!

The room itself was fantastic! Comfort and cleanliness was impeccable. Waterfall shower is a treat!

No bottled water on site. No person to person contact on site. No way to bring filtered water back to room. Restaurant and desk closed and no staff on site for special needs and a continental breakfast would be nice but walked to 7/11 to get a snack. Everything was on line to check in with no personal touch. Seemed very AI.

We requested an extra towel and coffee for the coffee maker and never got it. Everything was done on our phone. The office was a closet room that was filthy.

Good in all respects, but outstanding restaurant.

The surprise about the Cole is the outstanding restaurant- most small hotels and motels have an OK restaurant, but Freddie’s Kitchen at The Cole is truly exceptional. We had probably the best meal of our holiday, which included the Sonesta on Kaua’i and the Venetian in Vegas.

Nothing- it’s in a good spot, it’s in good condition, the staff are friendly, the pool is pleasant and the house cocktail is recommended.

Very loud air conditioning unit but generally a good, safe hotel with a very modern feel.

Modern vibe, with convenient parking provision behind the hotel. Felt safe and comfortable staying here, coded access helps to give peace of mind with there being no on-site staff.

Air conditioning was ridiculously loud, ear plugs help but you shouldn’t have to sleep in ear plugs at a top hotel. Booking mentioned free parking, but parking is $15 per night. Pool was dirty on the day of arrival, but was cleaned shortly after I messaged Sonder via chat. No pool towels in our room, requested these via chat, never delivered.

GREAT HOTEL 9/10 NOISE NEED TO BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY!!

The property was amazing!!! Room felt like home away from home. The bed was comfortable, big (walk in) shower and fluffy towels. There was iron board, iron and everything you would need. Staff was very responsive and helpful which I appreciate.

This is NOT the hotel fault but the walls are thin and literally the people upstairs was a nuisance (stomping non stop) late at night (midnight) which was super stressful. I wrote the Sonder people on the app and they handled the situation which it stopped but the following day it started again. The hotel need to enforce a NO NOISE POLICY AFTER 10pm because this will deter people from booking with them. There was also NO BOTTLED WATER in the room which was slightly annoying as your literally in the desert and it get super hot. I didn’t like that neither. Overall 9/10 but yes the noise need to be taken seriously because this put a damper on my experience.

The room was nice and clean and the beds were very comfortable. Came to Palm Springs for a girl's getaway. Loved the pool.

There was no one at the property. You have to "check in" via a link sent to you in an email. We checked in pretty late in the evening. I checked in with my email, and they sent me a code. The code worked to get on to the property but not into our room. (The email said that the code works for both. It doesn't.) I had to call customer service and the guy didn't speak very good English. He was hard to understand, and it was difficult to explain the situation to him. We had to wait outside while he escalated our issue. It was frustrating.

Comfortable King size bed with 6 pillows, good parking.

No on site personnel to help with problems. Must phone or email for help…. Which does not happen. No daily housekeeping so no clean towels, room carpet, 1/2 roll toilet tissue, no coffee pods, noisy fridge, no ice, 2 bent paper cups for 4 day stay. Lots of bugs and stuff floating in pool.

I thought the ro was clean.

well I hated the fact that there was little or no staff. having to submit my drivers license to a data base is not ok and a selfie?? not ok. my do number and birthdate? also no staff on-site the code supplied didn’t work, we didn’t get into our room until someone finally came hours later at almost 530 pm. didn’t get to shower missed our reservations and sat outside for hours waiting for someone to come from another site. on hold for an hour and I could go on and on. almost nobody even staying there and it’s a 350+ room w no staff? that’s a 150 dollar property and again, no staff when tech doesn’t work and we can’t even check in or get into our room? to be told this morning no late check out even an hour or we would be charged more. this most disappointing trip I’ve ever taken waste of money. we stay over 100 Marriott nights a year and am an ambassador. wildly disappointed. also no issues w it but they said the cost was so high because it’s an adult only property, yet kids w floaties in the pool. again, have kids love kids no issue there but again, have a look at that property and try and justify that price. again, no staff on site at all can’t even get into our room. the whole experience was a literal joke

1) Booking.com gave the option to pay upon checking in, which I had a strong preference for, but Sonder charged my card upfront at the time of making the reservation (months in advance) and said that that is their protocol. 2) I enquired in advance of my stay if I could order an Amazon package to my room and was told it would not be a problem and that it could be left in the lobby for me. On the day of delivery the customer support staff said that the property cannot accept packages, and the package would need to be re-routed to another location if I would like to pick it up. The order was time-sensitive and there was no time to re-route the delivery so that was not an option for me. But worse was the customer support staff's attitude and mannerism while responding to me query over chat. The agent was not helpful, offered no suggestions, did not apologize for the mixup or show any concern, rather was curt asking, "what would you like for me to do?"
