Our Casita Verde is one of four private poolside casitas with a private entrance, covered patio, king bed, kitchenette, tile bathroom with walk-in shower, wifi and Apple TV. This Casita is next to the solar-heated warm salt-water pool and spa, lounge and outdoor cafe/bar area surrounded by botanical gardens. and courtyards We are close to family-friendly activities and nightlife. Located only 6 blocks from downtown Palm Springs, museums, shopping, restaurants and bars, we are a favorite place to stay during the Mid Century Modern Week, Coachella Music Festival and other local events. Three additional private casitas with baths are also available, or you may rent the entire estate.
Nestled in the historic Old Las Palmas area of Palm Springs, we are one of the original properties built in Palm Springs during the late 1920s. Frequented by some of the most legendary luminaries from Hollywood, this Old Spanish Estate evokes the secluded and nostalgic atmosphere that Palm Springs is known for. Once owned by Robert Stack in the 1950-60s, the property was a common gathering place for the Rat Pack during the 60's.

Casa de Monte Vista was truly amazing. One of our top favorite places we’ve ever stayed in! The gardens were magical. Birdsong and flowers were everywhere. And our casita was perfect! Joseph was a wonderful host and so kind. This was our first time to Palm Springs and we will be back again to this magical and fairytale of a place. We didn’t want to leave and we highly recommend. 😊

Casa Monte Vista is amazing! It exceeded all our expectations. The pictures on the website are accurate but can’t capture the utter peace and quiet. The back drop is the massive mountain range beyond the old wall with sweet birdsong and babbling fountains providing the sound track. After the dryness of the desert, it is a joy to return here each evening to this lush, lush oasis. Host Joe is an amazing designer and gardener as well as gracious and interesting host. This was our first trip to Palm Springs and Casa Viste Monte has ensured that it won’t be our last!
