Very nice room and bathroom as well as pool and outdoors area!

Nicely decor! Loved the pool area with palo verde flowers floating in the pool! Magical. Seltzers in the frig and reverse osmosis water poolside were great touches. Clean and newer room, secure parking in rear was nice when traveling with bikes.

Car Entrance is tricky first time. Slightly out of walking distance range to main hub of Palm Springs but great for biking on town routes.

This is our second time visiting Palm Springs and our second time staying at Mahala. We love EVERYTHING about this little spot!

It was a good price and a good location. The room itself was clean, it did smell like a wet dog though. The common areas were clean and quiet. The staff was excellent.

The pool was dirty, it looked like it had not been cleaned for quite a while. The room smelled of wet dogs and they do not have any basic TV service's.

The decor is beautiful and well kept, the beds are extremely comfortable with lovely fresh bed linen. The pool facilities are great too - they also provide pool towels which is really handy. Great location within walking distance of lovely restaurants and bars. Staff very friendly and great communication and seamless check-in process. We have been road tripping for 3 weeks on our honeymoon, this has been our favourite hotel (of 7 hotels so far!). Couldn’t recommend this hotel more

Excellent location, stayed for Coachella and the nearest shuttle stop was a 7 minute drive away. Loved that the place was quiet and people weren't trying to party after getting back for the night. Highly recommended.

Quiet, private property with views of the mountains. Within walking distance of shops and restaurants. Beautifully decorated rooms and grounds. Friendly staff. Nice to see a mid-century classic Palm Springs hotel renovated with a modern vibe, adults only setting. Very nice heated pool and hot tub, relaxing lounge chairs and many native plants offer a quaint, spa boutique type setting

Very well appointed.

We stayed for one night only, but it was really a perfect weekend. This property has a very private feeling, modern furniture outside and inside, very clean, neatly organized. The staff was very helpful, friendly and extremely accommodating. Parking is on site, great coffee place just one block down. The room was pretty big and shower even bigger. There is a fridge with complimentary drinks and snacks, there was also a water cooler next to the ice maker. The swimming pool and jacuzzi were clean and seating areas very comfortable. Entire property has a mediterranean vibe and we liked it very much!

The room was modern, new and clean, the bed comfortable. Front desk helpful and polite.

The driveway was a little bit barrow for a big SUV.

Mahala was a beautiful place! The room was clean, comfortable and decorated so nice! The grounds were like an oasis in the desert. Temps the days we were there were over 114 degrees! The AC in the room worked perfectly. The little retro styled refrigerator in our room allowed us to keep our water and drinks cold. The snacks, coffee and water provided in the room was such a nice touch. We definitely recommend this wonderful place when in Palm Springs.

Highly recommending , sheets towels crispy clean and smelled so good, fresh. Great design. Super easy and friendly check in , no hidden fees . Basically the best place to stay and relax in Palm Spring area . We stayed in the big resorts at Palm Spring locations before and there was always something to complain. Not the case with Mahala . We will be back .

The property is new and very clean, everything was as pictured. The rooms were not the biggest but the whole property was really well furnished, I would rate it a 9 for design.

We had an off putting experience and not sure if we would book again for that reason. My fiance and I booked this as a relaxation day after Coachella and half way through the day a friend of ours needed to swing by to grab our rental car since she wasn't able to get one at the airport. I went to the front desk to let the concierge know that a guest was coming on the premise for 30 mins and it was met with some hesitation and awkwardness but he said it was fine. After exactly 30 mins my friend left from the back, as promised, but when we got back to the room there was a text from the front desk that was a little passive aggressive and felt very "big brother" saying that they didn't see my friend leave in the cameras and a reminder that she needed to leave the premise.... Im not writing this to fault the concierge as Im sure he's just doing his job, but if you are looking for a relaxing carefree stay - this just wasn't our experience. I fully understand not allowing guests to use the pool or staying in the room overnight, but this was purely having a guest over for 30 mins. The way they communicated this to us made us feel uncomfortable getting these texts from the front office. This would never be a problem at a regular hotel, I understand this is a boutique hotel but the experience should feel the same and guests shouldn't be made felt like they are watched as if its a college dorm room.

The hotel is absolutely lovely, super quite and super relaxing.
