Facility, size of room, cost (thru booking NOT direct), was very good.
The people at the front desk were bad. After we told them we had booked on line, they refused to help with anything. We also saw 2 other parties at different times being treated poorly.

Older beautiful property, clean and well maintained.
Last time we stayed in a little bungalow style room with a little front patio and a nice view of the mountains. We enjoy staying in this property
Balcony in the back with not much view.

Location.
Property was good and well kept up. Check-in was awkward because my husband booked the room on booking.com. The staff at check-in question the fact that he was not there. It was a getaway for the ladies that did stay for two nights. This may check in very uncomfortable.

Very nice and clean hotel. We loved that we were close to the hot tub and it is close to downtown PS. The staff were nice, the bed was comfortable, and we had a balcony. We were able to check in to our room early and that was great! There were many amenities that we were unable to access due to time constraints and our one-night stay. We would stay here again.
We had booked a Queen studio room. The room was large and clean, but the bed seemed tiny. We have a queen-size bed at home, and this was definitely smaller. We asked them about it, and they confirmed that it was a queen-size bed. At least it was comfortable. Also, the check-in time is 4:30 pm. This is super late compared to other hotels. Luckily, they were able to get us our room earlier. We stayed here for one night on New Year's Eve. The next morning, we called the front desk to ask for a courtesy extension on the checkout. They said they were not allowing anyone to check out late. They require checkout at 10:30 AM and couldn't even offer us 11 AM. On New Year's Day. This is a super early checkout time compared to most hotels that are 11 AM and almost always offer a courtesy delay of 1 hour. Also, we kept hearing workers with loud walkie-talkies walking through the hallways all night and morning. This made it feel like we were staying in an institution or something. But we can deal with that. The no late checkout past 10:30 AM was not accommodating.

Loved the grounds and bungalow was very nice.
The bungalow was delightful, HOWEVER when we got up the next morning to shower, THE SHOWER DIDN'T WORK. The shower handle was stiff and we did not want to force it for fear of breaking it. We went ahead and checked out 9:30 and told the front desk. The lady at the front desk said she would have the manager contact us later when he arrived.
When we called him back he claimed that they checked it and it was working. So he could not give us any credit offt the room.

Lovely property. Like that there are a number of swimming pools and hot tubs all of which were very clean
The landscaping around our unit was very bare also no privacy if you sit on the deck. Our unit was very dated and could use new carpeting.

Convenient, quiet.
Staff didn’t explain towel schedule/process. And had to remind them multiple times for fresh towels.

So close to walk to everything I wanted to experience from Coffee shops, restaurants, boutiques, art galleries, markets, people watching and shopping. The room was fabulous. Loved the fresh smell of sheets and great desert view of mountains and palm trees. Staff very friendly and attentive. Great parking and love vintage pictures of movie stars on walls. The pools, spas and tennis courts were great.
Can’t think of any dislikes.

Complementary bikes and pickleball courts. Popcorn and coffee in activity room. Plenty of pools and hot tubs. A great restaurant within walking distance.
10:30am is an early checkout.

Spacious littler apartment, with balcony included! Everything was super clean. We had a jacuzzi very close to our room were we could jump for relaxation, open until 9pm! The hotel was huge, several pools, and jacuzzis. Possibilities of using bikes for free!! Access to tennis courts was also possible, though you need to come dressed appropiate for entering and playing in the courts. The place also has a lounge area with boards for pool, and other games, complementary coffee (available every day throughout the day) and popcorn served at 4pm every day. In the morning, next to the reception, there was a person available for questions regarding tours etc. The hotel rooms were equipped with stove, dishes and cutlery for 4 people, a fridge, and a big fancy microwave.
The hotel has only one restaurant nearby, which looked really fancy, and required "proper dress code" for dinner plans. So, if you are not in the mood of leaving your flipflops and shorts, then youll have to walk to the main city centre, for us was fine distance towards the main road with shops.

Beautiful location nestled at the base of the mountains with a charming mid-century feel. The resort was well taken care of.
We booked a two bedroom suite and were given a 1 bedroom with a sofa bed in the living room and were then told the resort was sold out. They didn't have air mattresses or anything to help create a different bed so we had to run to a Walmart to buy some ourselves. They did provide us with extra linen but the accommodations were tight and a bit uncomfortable.

Spencers Restaurant was amazing. The lobster was exceptionally good. The pools were clean and nice and the resort was located a convenient 5 walking minutes from downtown Palm Springs. For the cost, excellent value.
I have no improvement suggestions here. Just keep everything the same.

Nice and quite , very relaxing
Needs another elevator at the ends of the buildings

The decor was amazing, it felt like home. Which is good because being from England we are not used to 40+ degrees, and so we spent a lot of time in the hotel room. I liked it though, it was relaxing and inviting & had everything we needed in one room
If I had to say something I didn’t like, it would be the air con. It worked fabulous & there was a ceiling fan as well, perfect, but I couldn’t have the air con on while my husband was outside on the balcony due the noise and heat coming from unit on the other outside. We couldn’t hear it inside with the doors closed though.
The fan worked well, not loud or noisy or anything it was a godsend so it wasn’t too much of a problem.

Open air hallways was cool as well as the location of the property. The tennis courts were fantastic and the pro-shop was very helpful and accommodating in arranging a match for me. The room was nicely furnished and spacious. The view of the end tennis courts, mountains, and Palm Springs was very good. The deck was covered and large.
A petty issue: the facility supplies each room 1 regular and 1 decaf coffee packet for your entire stay. A packet will make one pot of coffee. In our case, we stayed three days. When we asked for more coffee, we were informed we would have to purchase them. Considering that we were paying $500/night, it seemed to us that one packet per day would have been included with the room cost.

Insect bite me in the room. Now i’m having a treatment back in home with 3 medicines. I hope it doesn’t go worse. The room was not clean and room service did not come during my stay

Beautiful location right by the mountains.. nice size room with a balcony. Staff was great.
Tried to book some pick up doubles or a clinic at the tennis club. The tennis staff didn’t seem interested in making anything happen for me . I’ve played the game for 50 years and really wanted to play at this historic club. 👎

Easy check in and dealings with staff. The grounds were well kept and comfortable. The onsite restaurant/bar Spencer’s was expensive but worth it. The pool was uncrowded and the scenery of the hotels location (right next to a mountain) and wildlife were awesome. Bighorn Sheep right above the pool.
Not much to dislike. The first night was a little warm inside room. But staff got it fixed.

Location, location, location. The resort is clean & safe. The staff is friendly.
I've been staying at this resort for years and always enjoyed it due to their cleanliness and its location within walking distance to downtown. I stopped staying their due to their recent requirement of two night minimum. However, this past holiday I spent two nights there it was just as nice as I remember. However, the 4:30pm check-in ridiculous. It used to be 3pm. They no longer offer free poolside water.
