Breakfast was a coupon for two breakfast options at a restaurant several blocks from the hotel. Breakfast was fine but you had to walk or drive for it. Room and hotel were nice and I like the 24 hr coffee machine with many options.
Room was on the small and older style. Shower/toilet area a little small and never was able to get hot water from the shower.

The staff was excellent. Very responsive and helpful. The pool was wonderful and it was right outside our door. The lemon trees were very pretty. The artwork was great.
The carpet in our room was pretty dirty. The bathrooms really needed more shelves and the shower floor is even with the bathroom floor so the water ran onto the bathroom floor. And they definitely needed more outlets.

It’s quaint and cute. I love that the parking lot was so easily accessible from our room. They have a little library and complementary beach cruisers for rent. The food and free breakfast at the restaurant a few blocks away was nice. The hotel staff were very nice.
The biggest issue for me was the pool. We booked this for Spring Break with our two kids under 7. I specifically called the week before the trip to ask about the temp of the pool and they said 84* degrees. That pool was not maybe 70-74 at best. Every parent that plans a family trip knows how much time and energy is spent trying to find the right place while on a budget and all of the decision making that goes into it. We just wanted a simple low key hotel with a pool that was warm enough for the kids to comfortably play in. I’m not kidding you when I say that they were shivering cold and my daughter’s face was purple. We ended up booking a resort pass for a different hotel and spent one of our days there. Two other issues, minor but annoying. There were few outlets in the room. The tv was finicky and outdated. I really wanted to like this place but I definitely would not stay again unless it’s winter and not warm enough to swim. Also, that specific area of Palm Springs gets really really windy. We noticed that just a few blocks down closer to downtown the wind was much calmer.
