Cold showers in cold property

Relatively clean for France. Quiet. Bed comfortable. Free parking on site. Good WiFi

The owner is selling the flat promoting it much better than it actually is. The worst part was cold - making my stay very uncomfortable. Cold shower (hot water only lasts for a couple of minutes, not enough even for 1 person). Bad heating system - not enough for high ceiling in old mansion. I was also told to send a deposit of 500e via private link before they giving me instructions on how to access the property - not something you’d expect when booking via booking.com I refused and they told me I should have read better before booking. They provided instructions anyway after I refused to pay the deposit. Told me to clean after myself - wash dishes and remove the rubbish. Also not something you’d expect. Also water taste really weird after boiling - never my tea taste so bad. I doubt it’s safe to drink. Many super cheap items (like from 1euro stores) - including horribly smelling scents which I had to put outside of the property when arrived. The area is scary, I arrived at night and it was very scary to find the flat in dark old mansion. Walk to the city centre doesn’t bring beautiful views but it’s not too far. I have extended my stay for 1 more day because I really needed to work the next day and couldn’t be bothered to move. The owner was bragging that this is because I loved the property so much instead of understanding that I was actually struggling to be there and had to sleep in my wool sweater and it was still cold. I can’t recommend and will never stay here again.

L’annonce décrit un logement avec deux chambres (un salon et une chambre), alors qu’il n’y a en réalité qu’une seule pièce. Malgré notre remarque au propriétaire, l’annonce n’a pas été corrigée et mentionne toujours la présence d’un salon et d’une chambre. À l’arrivée, aucune solution ni geste commercial n’a été proposé. Bien que nous ayons précisé que nous serions trois, le troisième lit n’était pas préparé. La salle de bain n’est pas isolée phoniquement : la cloison ne monte pas jusqu’au plafond. Les parties communes sont en mauvais état. La localisation est également imprécise : le logement se situe à environ 25 minutes à pied de la cathédrale, et non 10 minutes comme indiqué. À notre arrivée, une forte odeur désagréable était présente dans la chambre. Après quelques jours, lorsque les siphons se sont remplis, la situation s’est améliorée. Enfin, un détail pratique : la douchette ne peut pas être fixée au mur, ce qui n’est pas très fonctionnel.

Correct pour un séjour rapide au regard du tarif

La présence d’un parking gratuit dans la cour de l’immeuble, ce qui est très pratique et rassurant lorsque l'on vient en voiture. L’appartement correspond bien à la description : un studio fonctionnel avec une cuisine séparée, ce qui est appréciable pour un court séjour. Une machine à laver est disponible. Pas de lave vaisselle.

Il n’y a pas de lavabo dans la salle d’eau : il faut utiliser l’évier de la cuisine pour se laver les dents ou se raser, ce qui est peu pratique au quotidien. Le logement est assez bruyant (voisins), ce qui peut gêner si l’on est sensible au bruit. Surtout, l’environnement immédiat est difficile : le quartier est peu rassurant le soir et je ne recommande pas de sortir après 21h, notamment si l’on est seul(e).

Parkplatz auf dem Grundstück. Bushaltestelle vor der Haustüre ermöglicht schnelle Anfahrt in die Innenstadt in ca- 15 min. Ruhige Lage da das Zimmer zur Gebäuderückseite lag. Ausstattung ist reichlich vorhanden

Nicht aufgeräumtes Grundstück/ Parkplatz. Zugang zum Gebäude. Die alte Holz-Haupteingangstüre im Erdgeschoss benötigt eine dringende Reparatur. WC und Dusche sind mit der Küche verbunden. Mini Waschbecken in der Ecke des WC´s nicht nutzbar bedingt durch vorgebauten Oberschrank. Fehlende Rauchmelder im Flur und im Zimmer Ehemalige Stadtvilla sehr vernachlässig.

fußläufig zur Kathedrale, sehr geschmackvoll und hochwertig eingerichtet, ausgestattet mit wirklich allem, was für einen Urlaub wünschenswert ist. Ruhige Nächte. Der Gastgeber erläutert per Mail ausführlich und sehr freundlich was, die Modalitäten um zum Apartment zu gelangen. Wenn ich noch einmal nach Rouen komme, dann nur hierhin!

Für zwei Personen ist das Appartment und seine Lage ideal.

Das Appartment insbesondere das Schlafzimmer war nett eingerichtet mit Sofa, Bett und sogar einem Kamin. Von der Küche ging ein kleines Badezimmer ab. Die Küche war gut ausgestattet, so dass wir unser Abendessen und Frühstück zubereiten konnten. Die Lage war gut; wir haben die Innenstadt in etwa 10 Minuten zu Fuß erreicht. Es gab einen Parkplatz direkt am Haus. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt und unseren Aufenthalt in guter Erinnerung.

Die Waschgelegenheit im Bad ist sehr klein.

Smaakvol ingericht, mooi oud pand. Alles is aanwezig. Locatie is aan drukke straat maar geen last van straat geluiden doordat appartement aan de achterkant ligt.

Badkamer is heel klein maar wel functioneel.
