Stolen valuables during our stay

Full beds for four people.

Somebody with keys entered the apartment and stole our valuables. The owner did not help at all, only providing police address (on the other hand, the french police were very nice). Also, the apartment is in the roof (so very very hot in the summer), water heater does click clack noises the whole night, there is no ventilation in the bathroom,it is impossible to lock the front door from inside.

Nice on the inside but exterior not very welcoming.

The apartment was well furnished and the beds were very comfortable. The modern kitchenette and bathroom were very good.

There was no A/C and as the apartment was on the top floor it was very hot. Also the main bedroom velux window wouldn’t open so it was very warm for sleeping.

Wifi didn't work for two days. The problem was resolved on the third day. The water pressure in the shower is very weak. no soap, no shampoo. The dishwashing sponge is in such a state that I wouldn’t dare wash the toilet with it.

Lovely and relaxing apartment for our short getaway.

The locations was superb, it was very quiet and easy to get around everywhere. It was decorated beautifully!

There were not quite enough kitchen utensils, cups, bowls etc for family of 4 cooking and eating there.

Thought I was in a car park at first, but I picked red door number three on my right and I was suddenly in this very artistic hallway like magic. Loved this apartment. Location is also perfect. Brilliant value for money.

Superb

A thoroughly comfortable and cool apartment barely 5 minutes walk from the centre of Rouen.

I thought there would be a car parking space. There wasn't so I had to go in a public car park. Never mind.

Good apartment/great location but our stay was marred a little by the manner in which it ended.

The location was unbeatable, fantastic. The flat was nicely presented and felt homely and welcoming. A very pleasant place to spend a few days. Arrival was straightforward.

To improve the experience we would recommend adding a couple of small lamps, as the lighting wasn't great at night. There were also quite a lot of cobwebs in the flat and it would be good to provide some bin bags, as the only one there was poor quality and ripped, so we could not remove the bin contents hygienically. Our main issue however was that one of our party slipped on the steps in the middle of the night and badly injured her leg so she had to remain inside for the whole stay - there is no handrail and it felt a little dangerous. Of course these things happen and we do not blame the owner in any way. However, because my friend could not leave the flat (top floor), we requested an extra 2 or 3 hours to stay before checking out as she could only just slide down the stairs to our car and faced sitting in it all day. We were a little disappointed with the owner's attitude, as she did not seem interested or sympathetic to our problem, and just replied with a straight no. Yet my friend sat outside on the step for an hour and no one turned up to clean, so I think it would have been OK for her to stay inside a little longer, where she would have been much more comfortable. That was a shame, as it is a very nice apartment otherwise.

Although we did not use any of it, there was all the equipment we could need in the kitchen. The decoration was very tasteful. The area where the house is located is very nice, 10 minutes walk from the old town

Wonderful cozy stay

This is a lovely, cozy yet spacious, place - perfect for a weekend or a linger stay! It's decorated exquisitely and located just minutes away from the center. Marielaure was very responsive and helpful. We absolutely loved our stay there and jt truly felt like home. Be aware that all public parking in the area is paid and also in limited availability. There are underground car parks within a 5min walk.

Very handy location to attractions. Big apartment - plenty room, well equipped kitchen with a few supplies included. Plenty on street parking around the corner. Doggy friendly.

Exceptional

It was an excellent apartment, the best one in my entire trip to France. There were two bedrooms with provided privacy for everyone. The location may seen a little off the city centre, but it has the convenience of access to all T1, T2, T3, and T4 Teor lines. It was very quite at night. There were 5 heaters in the apartment.

One single bed was without bedsheet, and the double bed had no blanket.

Trouver l'appartement occupé (homme installé dans un lit!) alors que la réservation avait été faite et payée! Impossible de joindre la propriétaire. Toujours pas de réponse ni de remboursement !

La déco c'est tout

Nous avions réservé pour 15h erreur de code de la boîte à clé la propriétaire nous donne le bon code et nous apprend que le ménage n est pas fait nous convenons de l attendre 20 minutes pas vu. Donc appartement sale linge sale et pas de cafetière. En plus nous avons acheté des capsules nespresso pour rien belle déco et bel emplacement tout de même même

Guten Tag, ich habe eine Unterkunft unter der Adresse 24 Rue Anatole France für den Zeitraum 1109.2025-14.09.2025 über Booking.com gebucht. Bei unserer Ankunft hat uns jedoch niemand empfangen, die Schlüssel wurden nicht übergeben, und es war unmöglich, den Gastgeber telefonisch zu erreichen. Der Aufenthalt konnte somit nicht stattfinden. Wir mussten die Nacht im Auto verbringen, da wir spät in der Nacht ankamen und keine Zeit hatten, ein neues Apartment zu mieten. Außerdem mussten wir vom 12.09. bis zum 14.09 ein neues Apartment buchen und wieder bezahlen!!! Ich füge einen Screenshot bei, um zu beweisen, dass sie nicht in Kontakt kommen!!!! Ich bitte daher um die Stornierung der Buchung aufgrund der „Nichtmöglichkeit des Check-ins durch Verschulden der Unterkunft“ und um die vollständige Rückerstattung des bezahlten Betrags auf meine Karte.

Literie à moitié faite (lit avec housse de couette non mise, autre lit avec taie d’oreiller retrouvée dans la salle de bain à sécher sur le radiateur) Bac à douche qui ne s’évacue pas voire commence à déborder Luminosité de la saille de bain médiocre (une seule ampoule jaune deco qui n’éclaire pas, lumière de miroir HS). Velux de toit d’une chambre qui ne ferme pas (astuce non trouvée )

El alojamiento es muy bonito, y decorado con gusto. Espacioso. Dejan animales.

HAbia pelos sucios de personas anteriores en el baño, y una de las camas no estaba hecha, con lo cual se veía que no habían limpiado entre el hospedador anterior y el nuestro. No me gusta que se ponga que tiene parking, cuando en realidad es parking publico en la calle. Es una política que debería cambiar en Booking. El dueño se comunicó en francés para darle las indicaciones de las llaves y como entrar. Para el parking respondió e ingles. Cuando le dije si me podia dar las indicaciones de como llegar y entrar en ingles, se negó. No me ha parecido para nada un trato cordial, ni voluntad de facilitar la estancia para un extranjero. Si no le gustan los extranjeros, debería de no alquilar. Pero no tener las instrucciones en un idioma entendible, para el acceso a las 10:30 de la noche no me parece educado.
