Nice modern apartment in a great location

Lovely comfortable modern flat with nice furnishings in a very good central location. Good communication in advance.

No kitchen cutlery at all. This was mentioned in a previous review but surprisingly not rectified. The blinds don't fit the windows properly so in the Summer there would be a lot of early morning light. Small things that could be rectified easily to make this flat A*

A bright, clean comfortable apartment with everything we needed

Everything was perfect. Two double bedrooms with comfortable beds, plenty of storage for clothes and a spacious living room. Fully equipped kitchen (though we didn't use it) and a large fridge/freezer. Easy walking to venues and attractions. Good communication from the owner. Will definitely look to book again for future visits.

It was a little difficult to work out which was the right building, but once we did, the instructions we were given were detailed and effective.

An amazing stay in a fantastic location with a great host.

The location of the property was excellent, mailbox/parking just across the street! Walking distance to the centre!! The flat was tidy and very well decorated! The beds were comfy and the bedding was excellent quality! Great communication from the host too.

There were only 2 issues with the apartment which I would say didn’t spoil our stay but were a little inconvenient- the blinds in the second bedroom were not wide nor long enough for the window and the 2nd thing was the height adjuster on the shower was broken and therefore we had to hold the shower head to shower otherwise it was far too low.

Great place to stay in Birmingham

Lovely apartment with lots of space.We travelled with a baby and could easily find space to set up our travel cot. We didn't cook but there is a lot of choice for takeaway/ food delivery. Although convenient in the centre of Birmingham there wasn't any road noise, it was really quiet and we didn't hear other people in apartments either. Beds were comfy and the water pressure for shower and bath fantastic. I would always recommend staying here.

The stay was perfect for what we needed it to be.

There was plenty of space in the apartment and both room were very accommodating for each person that stayed. The open plan kitchen and living area was perfect for us (despite not using the kitchen) make the room feel lots bigger and more inviting. The lockbox to collect the keys was completely ideal for us, as no pressure or rush to meet the person on time (can’t always predict the traffic). Was slightly difficult to find location as couldn’t determine which building it was. The beds were very comfortable including the bedding itself. The kitchen has all facilities you could need and has plenty of things to use if you were planning on cooking.

Shower was broken making it difficult to use as couldn’t adjust the height. The blinds were broken ans not fully useable out of fear of further breaking, main blind in main room doesn’t fully cover the window so does let lots of light in but not too disturbing. There was minor things that could’ve been cleaner and could do with some further touch ups of the property. Unfortunately the toilet roll holder was practically falling off so was cautious about using it to not further tear it from the wall.

Blinds too small, too much light comes through in the morning. Fire alarm went off in the building at 3:30am, this obviously couldn’t be helped but did affect our stay. Assuming it’s down to the broken alarm on entrance.

Location and layout are good but it is tired and desperately needs a thorough deep clean.

The location was ideal and the space/layout in the apartment worked. The main room appeared fairly contemporary in style. We didn’t need to use the heating as the place was a comfortable temperature.

The whole place needs a thorough, deep clean; around the tap and overflow of the bathroom sink there was brown scum, all of the rugs and carpets and bathmats are visibly marked and dirty, there are stains on the bedside furniture, walls, and bed linen and random bits like a towel and someone’s bra were down the side of chests of drawers. In the second bedroom there is even what looked like chewing gum stuck on the wall. When we entered the apartment there was rice in the kitchen sink and in one of the cupboards there was a greasy, unwashed, broken plate. The window blinds are all very dusty and the multiple air fresheners are overpowering. A couple of general maintenance issues are also evident; the shower head riser is broken and there is a hole in the wall at the back of the shower.

Really good, great location and good sized apartment perfect for what we wanted

Location was amazing, close to New Street Station and o2 academy. Host emailed fool proof details to access the property. Then also emailed to offer a late check out- bonus!! Great for 1 night stay

Could have been cleaner, bathroom bin hadn’t been emptied and bits on the floor which made me think it hadn’t been hoovered properly. Fire alarm went off through the night- not the hosts fault and just one of those things

Amazing locations and brilliant host just needs a bit of an update/deep clean

Value for money was amazing and excellent location for everything we needed. Easy to access with detailed instructions from host.

Items were broken such as wardrobe, Chester draws, shower holder however these were explained by host when messaged. The mattresses really need an update as they weren’t overly comfortable. Could really have done with a better clean before hand. There were crumbs/bits of food under the table and we didnt eat in the property. The rug in the living room has seen better days & there was stains on the duvet cover in the main bedroom.

Loved and would stay again.

Love the location, right next to the mailbox and a 5 minute walk into town. The apartment is very spacious and modern. Nice little touches like a fan and blankets available to use.

The communal area is a little messy and there was a constant alarm going off in the main entrance hallway. There was only 1 toilet roll available, for 3 people staying this wasn't enough and we ended up having to buy some.

Great location but not luxury

Great location, right next to the Mailbox. Easy access to the Aquarium and Lego Discovery.

Bedroom blinds don’t fit the window so rooms let in light. Apartment felt unfinished. The furniture wasn’t fixed to the walls and was wonky which was quite dangerous given we visited with young kids. No wifi - we were told it wasn’t working but I am not sure there is even wifi installed, which meant the TV didn’t work. No pots and pans to cook with even though there is a full kitchen. Place wasn’t properly cleaned. There was dust on skirting boards, floors and under the windows so our youngest was covered!

Location was brilliant, very central. WiFi worked well, had Netflix and streaming services. Big enough for a family of 4.

As others have pointed out, the biggest issue is that the blinds in the bedrooms don’t cover the windows fully so it lets a lot of sunlight through and at night the lights from other buildings shine right in. Also you are overlooked so cannot safely get changed in the room. Because of this I have rated it down two stars and wouldn’t stay again unless that’s fixed. Shower was a bit flimsy also.

Needs maintenance and cleaning

We have visited an event at the Repertory Theatre and the location of the apartment was very convenient.

The apartment needs some care and maintenance. There are a lot of things broken, like wardrobes falling apart, parts of the wall is missing in the bathroom, blinds are threatening to come from the sealing. Even the owner asked us to keep the blinds open as they might come off - it seems like he is rather accepting than fixing it. The WiFi is not working even though provided but you need to log into a provider portal. The blinds in the sleeping close can be closed but they don't cover the whole window. In addition there is a bright light outside which directly shines into the sleeping room on the bed. You are actually almost able to read a book without switching on the lights. But the worse of all is that we did not perceive the apartment as being clean and there is a lot of stuff left by former guests. Pizza and other things in the freezer, dirty cutlery in the dish washer, rubbish in the cupboard, etc. This definitely wasn't a great experience. Luckily we just stayed one night.

Super convenient for our office and an excellent value way of reducing personal expense!

Email re access was super clear and arrived in good time. Easy to follow and got in quickly and seamlessly.

Nothing really. If anything the window treatment to block out ambient city light could be better, particularly for summer. But I travel with a mask anyway - was just super hot as temps were mid 20s during stay! My colleague is light sensitive and affected a bit.

Excellent overnight stay

Lovely appartment in an excellent location within walking distance of the train station and the ICC. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Although on a roadside it was quiet once windows were shut. Lovely layout. The host went out of their way to see that our needs were met.

Outside door is challenging but clear advice given as to how to access independently.

Great location, great style, great comms, but wouldn’t stay again

Nicely styled apartment, great location, brilliant comms & nice touches like the snacks on arrival and tea & coffee, and heating out on so it was toasty when we arrived, and fresh towels delivered. We knew we could have more items dropped off if needed. Great value & a good size apartment for 4 friends catching up.

The apartment wasn’t clean and didn’t feel finished - the sitting room rug wasn’t hoovered nor was the sofa, the blinds were very dusty & didn’t fit well so the light poured in. There weren’t enough glasses for 4 people and those there were cracked. There was simple art but cracked glass in the frames. The bathroom had tiles missing & bits of the bathroom put to one side - light bulbs missing & needed a bath mat. Someone had previously been unwell in one of the bedrooms! We couldn’t use the bedroom furniture as the drawers didn’t open and were dirty/not hoovered, but thankfully we were only staying one night.

Super gelegen und schön große Wohnung!

Es ist super zentral gelegen! Die Wohnung ist richtig groß und schön eingerichtet!

Leider sind die Möbel in den Schlafzimmer nicht mehr so toll! Im Bett merkt man jede Feder und die Schränke und Jalousien sollte man lieber nicht anfassen, sonst fallen sie auseinander! Im Bad fehlt die Verkleidung hinter der Dusche. Hier sollte also mal ein bisschen was gearbeitet werden! Aber generell war es schön hier!
