Cosy 2 Bedroom Apartment

The apartment is clean, functional, and well located, but several issues affected comfort and led us to leave a three‑star review. One positive is the convenience of the location, with local shops and eateries nearby. However, the apartment is on a busy road and close to businesses that stay open into the evening. Traffic noise and conversations outside continued late at night and disturbed our sleep. This was made worse by the curtains in both bedrooms, which do not close properly. Streetlights, headlights, and light from nearby premises shone into the rooms throughout the night, making it difficult to achieve darkness and rest. Another drawback was the constant smell of takeaway food. Due to the proximity of nearby eateries, cooking odours regularly entered the apartment. Over time this became unpleasant and eventually left us feeling nauseous. Opening windows was not always practical, as it increased exposure to outside noise. The apartment was mostly clean on arrival, though some doors had visible dirt and makeup marks from previous occupants, which detracted from the presentation. Fans were provided to help cool the apartment from the afternoon sun, which helped, although heat could still build up. Overall, the stay was adequate but impacted by noise, light intrusion, and lingering odours. With improvements to curtains, ventilation, and attention to cleaning details, this apartment could provide a much more comfortable experience.
