Although the public areas of the building were shabby, the apartment was beautiful, comfortable and clean. The kitchen facilities were ok, although needed more crockery as only soup plates available, but enough to manage with. Beautiful views from both sides of the apartment, and easy links with public transport
Asked for access details the day before travelling. Host declined. Partial details given after normal check in time. Final details given at 17.30. This was stressful. Then had to phone host for Wi-Fi code.
The lift worked fine but there were about 50 steps up, including narrow turning staircase at the top of the building so it wouldn’t work with limited mobility or massive luggage.
