Vance Retreat

I booked a one bed with my husband. Perfect as we were in Blackpool for work and I could start doing my office work in the early morning without waking him up. Good wifi and perfect kitchen for my preparations, coffee& breakfast. It even had an oven, microwave and hob! Just in the middle of the city center and just a footstep from the beach. Well equipped with a fan: do you need those in Blackpool? 😃 And even an iron... Nicely decorated and a good smell. Definitely come back. Thanks Vance retreat for offering me discount on my next stay.

The typical English shower.. I didn't immediately understand how these electric appliances work. But it worked and was warm!

Very close to the centre of town, but in a quiet part so good for sleeping

It might’ve been me, but I couldn’t find a sink plug or a scrubbing brush which made washing up a little tricky

It is well decorated and very central, just a short walk from all the sights.

Communication could be better, we booked 4 adults but the apartment is too small for that, luckily one of our party didn’t come. The sofa and sofa bed are very uncomfortable. We were left only 2 towels for 4 people and there were no sheets for the sofa bed, which is quite badly stained.

The floors were filthy, our feet and socks were black from it. There was food on the floor in one of the bedrooms and a fake eye lash in the bottom bunk bed. Stains on the sofa bed too. The whole place smelt badly of damp and other guests were smoking with the front door open which just filled the front room.
