Charming basement flat close to town centre, supermarket , transport links and attractions

Charming apartment, very clean, modern, nicely furnished,good size and the beds very comfortable. It had a washing machine and dish washer and a good amount of crockery, tea and coffee supplied etc., An excellent location, so close to town centre, train station, supermarket Hosts provided helpful information before and whilst we were staying. The very helpful information on car parking and charges was most welcome. The hosts made it clear they were on hand to help should we need it and found them to be most professional in their approach. Overall good value for money and an enjoyable, mainly comfortable stay. Thank you.

The flat is charming and we had been warned in advance about it being in the basement and the low ceilings, which we appreciated. As we are short and definitely below 5'11", this was not an issue. However, what we did notice was the amount of extra noise we could hear from the other flats above us because of the low ceilings . During the day of course it is not an issue, however people moving about, music, dancing, singing etc., above the bedrooms until 2.0Oam meant it was sometimes difficult to sleep. ( Even though the beds are very comfortable). We appreciate we could have informed the hosts ,who I'm sure would have done their best to help with the matter,. People do need to move about and I'm not sure what could be done on that matter, other than better sound proofing.

Perfectly situated

The apartment was spacious, clean warm and comfortable. It had plenty of amenities. It was situated right on the edge of town centre but just far enough away. It was a stones throw from the train station.

We went for a restful weekend but unfortunately the apartment upstairs had very young kids who insisted on getting up at 5:30 am and bounching on the beds and turning the taps on constantly.

Key to flat was bent so we struggled to get into the inner door. It was frustrating. It was also quite hard to see the code on the key box in the dark. Paint was peeling off the wall in the lounge Washing machine door was loose and fell off when opened.

As someone who is 5"1, i enjoyed everything being low down. It smack dab in the gay scene which is great and made me feel so safe.

We weren't made aware it was a basement flat before booking. They said if we're over 5"11 the ceiling would be uncomfortable however my sister and fiancée are about 5"6 at best and they still hit their head multiple times. We had no tv, dispensers were practically empty. For a 4 day stay we received one dishwasher tablet. Random hidden back door in the big bedroom. all of the floors are uneven, the big bedroom might as well been a valley. all the walls are uneven too. no sugar with the tea and coffee on offer. missing pieces in the board games. no clean during your stay and based on the state of place not a very good clean between guests' stays. abysmal communications with the hosts. the keys in the lock will just spin and spin before unlocking.

Excellent communication, a convenient and quiet location, and a secure, well-managed property.

I liked the very clear communications received by the property. This included how to find the property, how to access the property and even what to do in any emergency or if we needed any help. The location is within walking distance to the train station and also within walking distance to the sea front, local clubs, theatres and bars. The street was quiet and the property secure. It was one of the best accommodations I've stay at in Blackpool so far.

My only dislike was the 10.30AM checkout time. I would have liked a later checkout, maybe 11.30AM.

It was like a home away from home had everything you could think of even down to an iron+ironing board clothes airer even board games to play of an evening will definitely be staying again the kids said they could live there forever the sofa bed was so comfortable haven’t slept that good in ages

Disappointing

The only positive was the bathroom it was the cleanest place in the apartment!

We was placed down in the basement apartment, which at first seemed quirky and cute, but after I hit my own head coming down the stairs into the basement (I'm five foot three just for perspective) I just had a feeling we were going to be disappointed and sadly I was right. There was an overpowering smell of damp, mold patches on the walls, and there were stains everywhere. Lights flickering all the time, a chair leg was half broken. One tiny window for the whole apartment. I was not staying somewhere with my daughter where no air can physically get through the place apart from the tiny windows at the lounge, WHICH when it was open for five minutes, two lovely men sat at the front of the property smoking weed so we had to quickly shut it. We left after ten minutes and we had to find somewhere else. MASSIVELY DISAPPOINTED

Home from home

Clean and spacious, closes to the station and all amenities, everything you needed like towels, tea , coffee etc.

There was just too many stairs up to the flat and inside it , i didn't realise it had so many stairs . The bed was too small for me and my partner too fit so ended up sleeping on the couch which was fine for me as the bed wasn't comfortable or the pillows for my liking.

Good location, just along from north station tram stop. Nice and modern. Beds super comfortable. Everyone is Blackpool is so friendly!

Needs a bit of refresh/ lick of paint. Towels not best quality. Description on booking.com says dining area however that isn’t included in flat 2 so had to eat off our laps. Also one smoke detector was covered over and the one in the bedroom had been removed which was quite worrying

Short stay at short notice.

The hosts were great and allowed us to extend our stay at short notice due to a Family Bereavement. We were also given a late check out. Everything we needed was in the apartment. It was clean and warm.

We were in the basement flat which was the only thing we didn't like as the stairs were very steep and the ceilings very low. The listing said it had streaming services but there wasn't any in the basement. I brought my own just incase it was needed. The wifi was a little bit glitchy but only in the bedroom.

Everything about the place was great. Location was perfect, easy check in using the lock box. The apartment was spacious and has everything you need and think about. Clean and tidy, just feel like being at your own home.

The location was perfect for us! The apartment was spotless.

There was only one issue in the bathroom with the towel heater as I’ve burned myself touching it. Everything else was amazing. We felt very comfortable and we will definitely come back and we’ve already suggested to out friends as we travel to Blackpool very second month.

Pillows wasn’t comfortable. I know that this is not what we should talk about but TV has just Roku service which was very inconvenient. Even no YouTube program there. I wish it will be better discerption that it was two floor apartments. Cause I really like place but I was not able to walk up and down so enthusiastically as i were before. And please do t photoshop your apartment so much.

Inviting, homely & comfortable

The apartment was lovely, homely and had everything needed. Little touches like a tea towel & tea, coffee, milk, shampoo etc were very much appreciated. Easy to get access once given the code.

It was not really a major thing, but the shower filter needed cleaning, and so consequently, when I had a shower, it overflowed onto the floor without me realising. I was able to clear it up, so it wasn't a big issue and would not put me off staying again.
