Disappointing Experience and Unprofessional Host Response

The room was clean and tidy.

My stay at 7Rooms was marked by several avoidable shortcomings and an unprofessional response from the host, Mr. Mario Marano. First, I received no instructions for late check-in, despite arriving within the check-in window stated in my confirmation. I was left with no way to access the room, and only the next morning did I learn—via another guest—that a key code message had been sent to them (but not to me). Mr. Marano later admitted he had left the premises at 4:00 PM, though check-in was supposed to be available until 6:00 PM. Secondly, amenities were misrepresented. The only toiletry provided was a small bottle of liquid soap, which the host later described as a "universal" product for hands, hair, and body. This feels inadequate, especially for a property that presents itself professionally. The in-room hair dryer was also non-functional. After I privately messaged Mr. Marano via Booking.com with these concerns—politely and without posting a public review—I received a curt and dismissive reply, ending with: “I hope to not having to hear again from you.” This, to me, reflects a disappointing lack of professionalism and courtesy. I hope my experience helps Booking.com and fellow travelers make informed decisions. This property has potential, but the guest service and communication need serious improvement.

Clean and simple stay, but a bit overpriced for what it offers

We stayed one night in Losone. The place was clean and simple, check-in was easy. It’s fine for a short stay.

However, for the price, we expected a bit more. There was no shower gel or shampoo in the room, and I missed having a large mirror. The photos made it look more cozy than it really was.

Das Tessin besuchen wir wieder, aber suchene eine anderen Unterkunft.

Bei Ankunft waren die Handtücher und die Bettwäsche sauber. Das Zimmer war geräumig und aufgeräumt. Umliegenden Örtlichkeiten kann man mit dem PW gut erreichen.

1. Die Unterkunft ist sehr schwer zu finden, obwohl das Gebäude und die Strasse markiert sind. 2. Es war keine verantwortliche Person zugegen. 3. Schlüsselcode und Schlüsselkastennummer stimmten nicht. 4. Das gesamte Gebäude roch übel - es wurde gekocht. 5. Das Bett wurde am zweiten Tag nicht gemacht, und das Zimmer wurde nicht aufgeräumt. 6. Der dem Zimmer zugewiesene Parktplatz war besetzt. Abgeschnittene Sträucher am Parkplatz rochen übel. 7. Der Zugang vom Parkplatz zur Haus ist nicht gewischt. Die dort liegenden Gartenmöbel sind nicht gebrauchsfähig. 8. Von der Gemeinschaftsterasse sieht man direkt ins Zimmer (keine Privatsfähre). 9. Die Menge an vorhandenem WC-Papier reichte für den einmaligen Gebrauch.

Séjour agréable dans un endroit calme et bien situé près de Locarno et d'Ascona.

Le responsable de l'hôtel était très accueillant et arrangeant en acceptant de nous donner une chambre plus grande et plus calme que celle initialement réservée via Booking.com pour un montant à peine plus élevé. Il nous a également préparé des petits déjeuners copieux pour le prix de CHF 10.- mentionné dans Booking.com, alors qu'il était en réalité de CHF 15.-. Nous avons apprécié ces gestes commerciaux.

Il faudrait mettre à jour sur le site de Booking.com le montant pour le petit déjeuner en option de cet hôtel (CHF 15.- au lieu de 10.-).

Capodanno perfetto

Host gentilissimo, disponibile per ogni informazione, risponde subito. Posizione della struttura ottima, a due minuti a piedi dalla fermata dell’autobus che porta a Locarno in soli 13 minuti. Stanza pulita e calda.

Nel bagno c’è si forma un po’ di condensa, perciò scendono delle gocce d’acqua sul water.

Ruhig gelegenes-, preiswertes Hotel mit freundlichem Personal

Das Hotel ist an einer super Lage, ruhig gelegen und doch gut durch den ÖV erschlossen. Das Zimmer (ohne Balkon) war gross und sie haben uns ein zweites Bett bereitgestellt. Der Check-In war problemlos und den Zugang erhält man über den via Booking zugesandten Zugangs-Code. Wifi hats auch kostenlos. Frotteetücher sind vorhanden. Es hat eine grosse Terasse und ein Rasen für alle.

Pflegeartikel wie Shampoo wären super.
