It was a clean place, the staff was very nice and good breakfast.

Too noisy, the sound of church bells every 30 min, the metallic bump bed was too noisy, the mattress was hard and the hotel is located in front of a busy street so you heard the cars all the time.

Nice place for the night.

Great place to spend the night. Basic but very good and very friendly, clean spacious room with great shower. Breakfast was good. For diner I tried a pizza, excellent!!! The staff is very friendly, also pet friendly (free). Parking directly in front of the hotel. Absolutely recommended. Only 15 minutes drive to the center of Locarno.

We are. We are very thankful it worked well and that we could stay and relax before coming back to Germany.

Room was on the side of the street, and thus could not keep the windows open besause of the street noise from the cars and lorries. Breakfast room opening was at 09:00, unusual for hotels. Though breakfast was ok-ish, serving lady was polite and helpful.

We thought this was very good value accommodation for the area. Everything else we saw was a lot more money. The room was as we expected, simple but very clean and comfortable and good bathroom/shower. Good to have a restaurant to eat in when we arrived. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was nice. Would definitely stay again, great value for a stopover.

Exceptional

Really good breakfast included with fresh orange juice and bread and the best coffee of our trip in Switzerland. This small family owned restaurant and hotel made you immediately feel welcome, and the facilities were clean and beautiful. In a quaint part of town away from hustle and bustle.

Clean room and bathroom with everything what is needed. Just it was too warm and the window couldn't be open in the night because of the traffic outside. But for the second night, we asked for a fan which helped a lot.

Noisy street in front of the building. But if you have a fan in the room, it's ok because you keep windows, which are soundproof, closed and you have a quite night.

There is terrible noise in the night. There is main road just 1 meter from the window. You hear and feel (!) the tracks and cars whole the night.

I would not recommend it to anybody.

The hotel is very noisy from the street. We could not rest at all. The breakfast was 3 watery slices of ham for 2 of us and some rubbery cheese with 1 cup of coffee and pastries. The dinner in the restaurant was OK but not great by any means.

Schade, dass man uns beim servieren des Frühstücks zuvor nicht gefragt hat, was wir gerne möchten. Es wurde uns Orangensaft und gekochter Schweinefleisch Aufschnitt und Kuh-Käse reserviert. Glücklicherweise drei Lebensmittel, die ich nicht konsumieren darf. Schade, sonst war alles o. k.

Prima Stopover mit sehr guter Verpflegung zu fairem Preis

Reichliches Frühstück mit Schinken, Käse, Croissant, Brot, Marmeladen und diverse Aufstriche, Kaffe oder Capuccino, Orangensaft und vieles mehr. Neu renoviertes Zimmer, klein, aber sauber, gute Betten und kleines aber funktionelles Bad neuwertig. Die Küche ist super. Große Auswahl, auch Pizza. Osso Büche mit Safran Risotto, Luganiche vom Wildschwein und Filet vom Pferd auf heißem Stein sind unsere Lieblinge. Sehr freundliche und schnelle Bedienung. Der Merlot vom Haus schmeckt sehr gut!
